Is anybody else having problems playing compatible xbox games on their 360s? I got halo 2 and fable for like 10 bucks a piece (love the cheap games) but Halo throws up weirdo artifacts and leaves shadows on the screen whenever it feels like (ofcourse its always on my side during co-op) and Fable likes to crap out and just decide to stop no matter what I'm doing, even when I'm just standing there wondering why my guy is so ugly and trying to find an alternative to catching glimpses of the ugly. This is probably due to low quality emulation right? I was just wondering if anybody else had this problem.
I feel like sending angry emails to M$ but since they can do no wrong and its all their mexican manufacturers' fault, they'll ask to send my 360 back to them... which isn't gonna happen.

I've been replaying the Halo 2 campaign mode on my 360 recently, and I've seen artifacts as well. It appears to be ghosting of cutscenes or something, because I can see the silhouettes of grunts and brutes in the ghost image. It get's pretty irritating when it shows up on darker levels, but it hasn't been bad enough for me to stop playing yet.

Have you guys done all of the updates for the these games. I haven't played this one so I'm not sure. Others have played good though.

oh, yeah. I figured out the problem. It's a known bug (there's a list somewhere... probably on the compatibility list) and it won't get fixed anytime soon/ever. Halo gets ghosts, fable gets weird noises and the list goes on. The bugs are minor but can be annoying. But atleast halo 3 is coming out soon so I won't have to worry about it :D
The fable crashing wasn't listed, which was odd. It eventually stopped doing it so I don't know what it was about. Mass Effect should fix the RPG wants though (trailer: http://www.gametrailers.com/player/24936.html )

I got pretty bad ghosting at one point, to the extent that it was difficult to play. So I just quit for the night. The next time I played the ghosting was gone, so if it happens again maybe you can just reboot. I have noticed also that when I continue my campaign mode game, it takes about a million years to load. Well, maybe not a million years, but at least 3 or 4 minutes. Pretty annoying. Never took that long on the Xbox hardware. No biggie though. I've just about re-beat H2 in preparation for H3 in about a week.

I'm looking forward to 4 player co-op on legendary. That should just be nuts.
