View Full Version : any one else notice the new color on helmet?

I shouldn't say "new", but it was a true burgandy and metallic! I REALLY liked it. Now only if that deep burgandy will find it's way to jerseys or pants.
That's the way the skins helmet SHOULD look like.

I kept looking it going, "something's different", and when they started showing old clips, I notcied that we used to have a flat redish color on the helmet.

I guess I didn't notice any difference in the helmets. Just not used to seeing them at night.

jsarno, i noticed it too...i think it's a bit darker than normal, and the metallic tones made it look really nice...

I was going to mention that this was bought up before. I like the white on white unis too.

oops...apparently I missed another thread.

Point still remains...I like the new look helmets. Best I've ever seen in fact.

Just out of curiousity, why are we giving a tribute to Gerald Snyder (GSS)? What did he do for the Skins?

Actually it is... :D

Mr. Snyder passed away, he was a part owner and Dan appearently seeked his guidance on a number of different issues.

Oh...I did not know that. I guess being 2000 miles from DC kind leaves you out of that loop huh?

I noticed it, didn't know if it was just because of the lights or what, but they definately look better than in the past.

they do look great...the best I've ever seen them...now if we wear the burgandy pants that will be a GREAT uni!!!!
(the new jerseys have that dark color on the numbers...it looks god.)
