The link did not work for me, but based on the information you provided I can only say, Dear Lord: Please let Will Allen cover Santana Moss man to man all day with no safety help. Amen.

If he holds Santana to only 1 td on Sunday he should consider that a successful day. Shutting him down completely is laughable.

Great bulletin board material for the Skins' locker room. If I were Moss, I'd want to torch this guy just for being an arrogant, whinny, horse's arse.

I'm sure the Miami Coach was thrilled to see that article.
If they single cover Moss with Allen, Jason will be going to him early and often.

Kinda funny the article, instead of just giving props to Moss for smoking him he comes up with excuses and then starts bragging about other games he supposedly has success against Moss, so basically he's saying Moss is nothing to him. He doesn't talk about Brunell's inability to get anyone the ball in the blowout loss or the deep safety help he got, or the game in college where they double teamed Moss most of the game.
1st play should be Moss up the sidelines for a bomb. We got a deep ball throwing qb now so Allen might wanna shut up. He must still think the 8 car is driving.
Moss is as quick as he is fast. So he's gonna give up some catches to Moss why tempt fate and piss off Moss and the Skins.
I see a double move in Allen's future.

for some reason, this season, i don't think its a good idea to give our offensive or defense anything else to get pissed about. They already mad about last year, and to give them more is to just dig yourself a hole

I have to disagree. This isn't a one on one matchup and Allen is more than capable of shutting down Moss with the right scheme and pressure on Campbell.
It all starts (and IMO ends) with how well the Dirt Bags do as a unit.

Sure he could have had safety help but two of them were straight up facials. One of them he gets shoved to the ground by Santana, the other he gets spun around, and the screen was not a lineman on him it was Cooley.

So Allen has owned Moss except for that game? Yea, right. I know CBs have to be cocky to survive, but the guy has not covered Moss at all without scads of help, and why should he expect to do so now?
Sounds like Moss is in his little mind.

I agree with what you are saying, but after watching what has happened the past few years with Moss and paying closs attention this preseason, I am convinced there is not a single DB that can cover this guy one on one and shut him down.
So if they play man to man with no help (which I do not expect), my only question is can a guy be a lock for the pro bowl after one game?
I know I'm getting ahead of myself here, but I am literal sitting here in a sweat waiting for Sunday. It can't come soon enough.

All I ask is that Moss does to Allen what the Colts did to Jason David last night. That's all.

Nah, Jason David never fell down. At least he could walk off the field, Allen had to watch from the ground, that's far more humiliating.

I hope all Dollfans are as overconfident as this blowhard:
Singing Sportsturd,
How are the dolphins going to win 7 games if they can't beat the dreadful foreskins? jason campbell? clinton portis with 2 bad knees? please put a little more thought into your work next time. you do get paid for this right?

I believe you are right in that Allen will be adequate if the Miami pass rush gets to Jason Campbell. I think the reason WA was so confident in shooting off his mouth is that he expects Jason Taylor and the blitz happy Dolphin defense to get to Campbell. If Allen is wrong about the Miami pass pressure, he is going to have long day covering Santana one-on-one.

Will Allen is a bum. I'm surprised he didn't change his name after that game when he got torched. He was cut from a team that is in one of the worst DB situations. He's aweful, and I hope he covers Moss all day.

i expect a lot of cover 2 from that defense, and them hoping Jason taylor owns a rusty Chris S.
cooley can have a big day, and our running backs can have a big day. i don't know if they will run the risk of playin alot of cover 1 with moss healthy and campbell showing touch in the preseason

No wonder their secondary blows so hard.

torch time coming again.. allen simply does not have the speed to match up against moss all over the field. if he doesnt get safety help it is all over..

Judging by the article. he'll blame the safety and getting blocked on a screen anyway.

That article is pure comedy. I love the fact that he knows how bad Moss whooped him in '05 but he still has to lie in a pathetic attempt to defend himself.
''Go watch that game,'' said Allen, the annoyance in his voice escalating fast. ``It wasn't a bad game.''
