Do you guys see our pass protection as improved enough on last year to give JC enough time to make his plays?

Good question, and I think that we need to see what happens tomorrow. Kendall will be better than DD very soon, in that regard, but who knows what kind of Samuels shows up? Combine that with Jansen's usual slow start and his perennially weak footwork, and I keep my fingers crossed...

Campbell's blind side is a concern until Samuels is 100%. If he takes another shot like he did against the Steelers we'll be sitting here talking about next year. Although I've got to admit, I feel a whole helluva lot better since we signed Kendall.

i expect alot of chips on the left side of the line, and alot of simple running plays. This chip will cause cooley to be less involved, but i hope im wrong. Until after our bye week, i wouldn't expect anything close to solid line play. but after that week, look out, cause we can be dominant, and portis will have his "stuff" back

JC can help the pass rush by getting rid of the ball quickly and by using his legs and running sometimes as well.
Pass protection I think will be a problem as someone mentioned just until Samuels gets healthy for a couple weeks.
I'm more worried about jansen who looks to be struggling some.

because the left side has lacked the time to develop cohesiveness i think it may be a couple of games before they really click.. but it will be good enough most of the time even from the start

Slobberknocking NFC East running the ball right at Jason Taylor is the very best way to stymie that rush...smack him right in the puss..

Will know about Samuels against Taylor soon enough and chip on him all day with a TE too

Raybach and Thomas solid. Kendall an improvement in pass pro with better feet than DD. Samuels will be ok if he is spelled (presumably by Wade). The problem will be Jansen in pass pro, especially if the chip help goes to the left side. Until the left side meshes the passing game will be limited because Cooley and maybe Portis and certainly Sellers will be retained to help the Oline, allowing teams to double our receivers and interfere with their routes.
