0-0 in the first half

8-78 yards I think is the last stat I saw.

Area of concern. I thought we were good to go at halftime with the way we hadn't committed any. Then all of the sudden we start racking them up.

How long was that interference call on Rogers?

I didn't realise we gave up that many!

Not sure how many yards came on that, but that was the majority of yards we had. We had 3 or 4 holding penalties...

I think those calls on the defense were a result of them freezing up and playing soft on the drive where they tied us. then it seemed like they turned it around and played pretty tight on miami's last possession

It was the O-line's first game together, so hopefully those will decrease.

The "abrupt" false start was inexucusable by the officiating commitee. The Skins ran the same exact ploy in preseason with mutiple shifitng, and the refs called it offsides. I'm sure Gibbs was testing during preseason whether that play was legit, and according to the refs in that game it was. This "abrupt" shifting ploy may be illegal, but the refs should have pointed that out in the pre-season. Someone needs to be fired.

That call was definitely total crap. It was a genius play and the refs f'ed it up.

Sellers was also in motion, at first I was POed but then the replay clearly showed Sellers in motion.

The long PI penalty on rogers was the one that I was miffed at. the ball was uncatchable. Defensive Holding penalty for 5 yards was the right call. That one set up the FG and the overtime

I think that call is one of those 50-50 flags. Sometimes they notice and sometimes they don't

The sad thing is I thought we were paragons of smart play compared to the stupid game killing falgs we drew last year, and the refs were spreading the love around.

Opening day jitters and sloppy play I hope.

IMO, Sellers was drawn off by the defensive guy jumping. lol

exactly. they had 2 men in motion

the pass interference call should have been illegal contact because the pass was not catchable...but there was contact

The call on Rogers was bogus to me. Rogers had a lead on that guy and he tried to get in front of Rogers.

1. It was uncatchable.
2. Rogers had every right to ball.
3. Made C.Rogers look bad.

The only contact i saw was the brushing of hands in which if u watch the replay, Rogers is looking toward where the ball is and not at the WR.

I had to laugh when the refs called offensive holding after a Frost punt in the first quarter on Redskins #44, then after a minute and a discussion reversed the call to Miami #44. Honest mistake I guess, the jerseys are very similiar and maybe Riggo plays on special teams.

It doesn't matter that he moved. They called the abrupt move as the penalty NOT multiple men in motion. The call was wrong, plain and simple. I guarantee you the league office will notify the coaches that they messed up and they are sorry (for what that's worth).

the pass interference was too hard to tell if the man could have caught it without the arm bar from smoot. the safety was coming over the top so who knows what would have happened.
