Passion exists often in situations that reason isn't used. And Iggle's fans are certainly passionate.

hmmm how do i say this without being scorned.

Having remembered the first pick... fondly, we'll say. I can completely understand why the fans reacted the way that they did. The Eagles were in desperate need of a running back and Williams was available. It was thought to be a no-brainer. Hindsight is 20-20, but I too was pretty upset with the McNabb pick. That is the last draft I had rooting for the green and white.... aren't you guys and gals glad i turned from the dark side?

Thank you PGiddy....I'm glad this didn't have to come from me. Everybody wanted Ricky Williams in Philly. He was THE pick at the time....not that we disliked McNabb as a player, we just wanted Williams at that spot. Obviously....glad we didn't.

However, it shows that when it comes to player decisions, the Eagles fans are what I would call idiots. Howevber, I think all collective fanbases are idiots and that teams should NEVER do what the fans expect/want.

Most fans think b/c they win a couple games of fantasy football that they are more than qualified to be a GM.
