Did Conway have any idea who we was messing with. I was laughing when i saw that. I was supriised with no penalty. Conway just needs to be happy with the one reception he had because he wasn't going to get more than that especially if Lavar was hunting :)

If Lavar maintains that high-level of playing, look out. You can see he's having fun out there too. He kept creeping up to the line and moving around before the snap of the ball. I guess Edwards has turned him loose. All three of the linebackers made good plays in that game and I thought Bowen was going to take someones head off.

The Jets had one penalty for 5 yards! That is bull ****! Why in the hell was't thata penalty? In the replay you can see the referee looking straight at the play. Yet, he does nothing! Its BS.
And I like what Spurrier had to say during his press conference. He said that we had one penaltie for holding.....then he added that he doesn't understand how the other teams we play never have a holding penaltie called against them......Classic Spurrier!
Yea the play Jon McGraw injured himself on shouldve been a penalty too .. clear helmet to helmet contact leading with his head, but nothing done to him because he got hurt. I don't think there's a clause in the rule about the penalty not being applicable if the offender gets hurt .. but whatever .. that's irrelevant now.

There were a bunch of non-calls against the 'Skins as well, I saw many potential late hits such as Moss getting hit out of bounds on the long PR and on the deep ball to Moss he was hit by the S well after the ball fell incomplete- that should have been a 15 yarder as well. The refs let the teams play for the most part.

Actually it was Trotter (LB). Bowen (S) jumped up with Moss and then Trotter laid out Moss......
The BIGGEST blown call of the game was Vinny's FUMBLE. It was a fumble that would have been a Skins TD. But because the REF blew it dead that's it, no replay. This is something the NFL said they wouldn't do........
Also Bruce Smith sould not have been credited with a half sack, again it wa fumbled before he toched Vinny. I want to see him get the record, but right is right.
Isn't that right Jesse Armstead???

I agree, he shouldn't be credited with half a sack. Where's the asterisk?

I thought the Conway/Lavar exchange was great! Lavar gives skinny little Conway a shove to almost knocks him on his back... and then to the surprise of everyone in the entire stadium... Conway attempts to shove Lavar back! (I think I sdaw Lavar move an inch or so).
I think Lavar thought it was very funny as well.

No, you are wrong here nyjunc. The hit by Trotter on the deep ball was perfectly legal and the smart thing to do. The ball was deflected straight up in the air and still playable. Trotter's hit was perfectly legal and smart, so as to prevent a catch on the deflection.
On the punt return, Moss was wrapped up and engaged in the field of play. The momentum of Moss and the tacklers carried them out of bounds.
The refs were looking for unnecessary roughness, i.e. the flag on Ohalete on the Jets first series of the game, which was a legitimate flag.

Actually, it was Ohalete who deflected the deep ball to Moss before Trotter laid him out.
