Outstanding read! I'm glad to have character guys on our team like this young kid.

Now I can admit it after reading that I've fallen for the kid, that was a great story. The one attribute he has and doesn't have to be proded into doing is work. He wasn't a player just big and he worked with great athlete's. He came here undrafted didn't pout just worked and listened. Came in the game last week at a spot he hadn't played and just worked. He has no fear and he isn't even ready yet.
When he gets trained for a couple years we're gonna have our future tackle.
And all because someone in the front office that no one seems to like did their jobs well.
We're on our way because when you start building your team with character guys who ane hard workers, Like JC, Heyer, Rocky McIntosh.
Won't be long before order is restored and the silver football is placed back in our trophy case.

Lol..that is fantastic!! Aside from being a great story, the part about the mom not knowing who Brian Jordan was cracked me up...
And size 22 shoes?? Good lord...I wear a size 14, and thought I had big feet....

This article is amazing. The success he had switching from the left to the right side cannot be underestimated. I especially liked his post game locker room interview last week.
"Once you are on the field, playing these guys, they become nameless faces," Heyer said. "If you get caught up in the stigma of who they are, that's when you get into trouble. Once you get sucked up in all that -- saying 'I'm facing a Pro Bowl player' -- sure enough you will become another of his victims."
Did Randy teach him that? Good for RT for requesting him as a roommate. Gibbs is surrounded by players like this. Way to build a team. Admit it, the whole team is in it to win it and generally selfless. Nothing but good character for Gibbs.

A Spicy McHaggis is what happens when a hardcore Redskins fan gets trapped in a sheep's stomach while searching for the Loch Ness monster. The Scots parliament has detailed a staff of professional scribes who have been trained to translate his muffled grunts into posts for hR in an effort to preserve his wisdom. :D

Great article, gotta love Heyers heart and determination. I think he's a diamond in the rough and a nice young building block to a vet OL. Kudos to Jordan, White and Devers for their time and efforts.
