What the Skins are planning to do with Randy Thomas and further evidence that Philly fans are the classiest in the world.

Even reading that he might be out for 8-10 weeks is devastating. I guess I am denial that we lost our best OL. Who is gonna pull to the left like he did??? Damn that sucks.

Did someone sign the guy the Ravens cut during camp I forgot his name he started for them last season. He's a guard.

Somehow what the Philly fans do that lacks taste or even good sense does not surprise me. However the lack of stadium security and police involvement does surprise me. Oh, yeah, they are Philadelphians also.

He was actually asked if they had approached him, or if he would be interested in returning. He laughed it off and gave them an unequivocal "no".

he is going there first, today.. perhaps that is why vinnie was reported to have said that they were trying out 3 C/G's tomorrow..
but he has a house in the area and was interested in the skins before this

We need to give him a look. I'm not certain Fabini can hold the fort or hold up for that matter.
I was thinking Heyer but I'm not sure he plays with enough leverage to make the transition.

Any chemistry with Rabach would be an added bonus.

So every draft pick has to come in and be able to start immediately??? Ugh you can be very maddening. The practice squad is intended to develop guys like Lefotu. I think I just need to find out how I can ignor the constant sound of dripping water b/c I really just don't get your beef??? I love you and all man, but I think you might need therapy to gett over the damage the Redskins front office has done to you in the past ~ 10 years. Just b/c you almost drowned doesn't mean you can't ever go swimming again.

Actually, my theory is they privately appreciate the Philly fans b/c of the rowdy homefield edge it provides.

Well here is what happened during my visit to "the stink".
I decided to wear my Joe Theisman jersey and hat. While walking through the streets through the tail gates I was consistently called an A-hole and told to go F myself. I had a "nuetralizer" which actually worked pretty well. Underneath my jersey I had a "F" Dallas shirt, something I thought we could all agree on. After seeing that, 80% of them became tolerable. The guys I tailgated with were all petty cool and made me feel welcome. One guy even tool me under his wing and said if any philly fan says anything to me on the way from the tailgate to the stadium he would take care of it. He was pretty drunk and was really just looking for a fight, but it wasn't with me so I was ok with it.
As I mentioned, our seats were 1st row on the corner of the endzone where the visiting team runs out. It was a great view of all the players and coaches. For the first half I was standing up doing the first down signals and cheering and really didn't get too much profanity thrown at me. The second half however was a whole nother story...
Right around the end of the 3rd Qtr, my buddy was getting sick of his own fans comments and was embarrassed at how they were all acting. We decided to get up and leave and go home and watch the game on his high def projection TV. He has like a 10' screen, it's pretty awesome. As we were walking up the stairs to leave, I had my jersey in my hands and was taunting a little bit. About 3/4 of the way up the stairs a eagles idiot was standing in the aisle and as I got up to him he said he is not moving. I asked him to let me through and he just stood there. Now I could have backed up 10 feet and went around, but I decided to throw him out of the way. Which I did. As I started to walk passed him he grabbed my Jersey and threw it further into the stands, then everyone started throwing it like a beach ball at a concert and before I knew it, it was 20 rows away. Now both sections 114 and 115 were all get into it. At that point I threw the guy again and then security came down.
They saw what happend and at that point attempted to try and locate the jersey. They came back up and said they couldn't find it and that I could go down stairs and file a complaint. At that point I lost it and called the 15 security guards around me chicken sh* MF p*ssies, etc.. How hard could it be to go down to that section and get my jersey. I told them I would go get it and they wouldn't let me. I had a redskin stress doll that I then held up to taunt both sections, so I held it up and yelled Redskins. (Kind of like William Wallace in Brave Heart when he yelled freedom). At this point I really didn't care about the Jersey but I wanted really get everyone riled up. I don't know if any of you were there but it was classic KAOS. Two entire sections were focused on cursing me out for atleast 15 mins. Finally the wimpy Chicken Sh*t security walked us out of the stadium as we were leaving. But I know I was over cooking their grits.
Well I am now withou my jersey, but I definately have a story. And I honestly believe I got the best of them. Especially because we won and they are all miserable, and I like to think I contributed to their misery!
Hail to the Redskins!
BTW, I was shocked that I only literally saw 10 other Redskin jerseys in the stands. There were other skins fans but they were plain clothed. They came up to me, and now after seeing how crazy, rude and ignorant the eagles fans are I can understand the decision to go incognito!
So that was my adventure...

Like you said, you lost a jersey and gained a great story. You showed real courage.
Great fans heckle the opposition but realize that without a rivalry, there would be no fun. I've been around crazy Jets fans and tailgated at Lambau Field (yes, that one) wearing my gear and had some witty exchanges and football passion.
Rudeness is just never called for. It poisons the pool and even destroys the joy of winning.
Way to represent. I think in Philly at least I too would have gone incognito.
