Anyone see the 3rd & 24 play? where Carter got sacked for like 10 more yards?? I didn't get to see the yardage for the first down when they punted. Curious because that's the worst I've seen in recent memory. Possibly a 4rth & 40 *lmao*. Anyone see that? And know how bad was it?

I didn't see it, but I remember a long 4th down play a few years ago described by the TV announcer as "4th down and forever to go".

How did Atlanta allow Carter to pass for about 250 yds?

He had two fairly large pass completions that accounted for a high % of his total, if I am not mistaken.

I think that Finneran's injury will help the Falcons. McCord and Gaylor will be given more playing time. I always thought that the Falcons best WR was Trevor Gaylor. He could develop into a great reciever if they give him time.

Throw all the stats out the window - that game was an embarrassment on every level for the cowboys.
Another completely separate time, Cowboys were 2nd & 24, before they ran it for over half of it against a prevent defense. *lol*
Never has punting on first down looked so plausible.

If they let Carter throw for that much, Ramsey should be a lock for 300+!!!!
