Pick one guy who could be the difference maker this week.

Mine is Cooley,

With the Packers being good outside at corner passing is gonna be a tough go at times. This is the week he breaks out and catches 6-7 balls. I think its perfectly set up for Cooley to make big 3rd down catch after 3rd down catch to keep drives going.

Sellers

i think we will be doing a lot of underneath passes this week and Sellers, Cooley and possibly McCardell will have a few catches

Cooley hasn't been playing inspired since signing his big new deal and the Pack Lbs are too fast and good for him to be able to dominate them. I think Moss is the one, the Pack likes to try and play bump and run, and Moss thrives against those type of CBs.

Green Bay has allowed 30 catches for 349 yards and 2 touchdowns to TEs over five games, an average of 6 catches and 69.8 yards a game. For those of you who watched the Green Bay-San Diego game, you’ll recall that Antonio Gates had an outstanding day against the Green Bay defense, catching 11 of Phillip Rivers’ 27 completions for 113 yards.
The Packers do not do well against good tight ends, and Cooley has not been playing lazy or anything as far as I've seen. He could have a big day.

this could be the game for cooley to break out, but im gonna go with our wide receivers being the difference makers.

To be fair, Gates has been Thor-God of Thunder this year so far. Thats a big chunk of their opposing TE catches so far. Outside of him, they're averaging 5 catches(roughly) for 60ish yards per game. Including the Bears game and Gates, thats only 12 catches for 117 yards from 3 games. Meh.

griffin... if he can collapse the pocket and push favre off of his spot and plug up the running game, not only will favre have to pull the ball down and not throw those slants he loves, but he is more likley to force the ball into coverage

on offense it will be up to JC.. if he has another solid game the way he played against detroit, i see us winning

Clinton Portis. I think the Bears provided the blue print of how to beat the Packers

From a purely statistical standpoint, you're right, but as I'm sure you saw last Sunday Night, the Bears were clearly focusing on their tight ends against the Packers secondary and were having success. Jeremy Shockey had a pretty good game against them too. It might not be a fatal weakness, but it's certainly a flaw in the way they play coverage.

I'm just betting Cooley can get open. Their lb's are gonna have to key so much on our run game that he could get loose and have a good day.

Nick Barnett has improved but I still think he bites real hard inside. some playaction could get Cooley open.

we'll see.

I think it will be Moss this week. Harris and Woodson are still ailing, Moss is back to 100% and he can make even the best CBs look stupid. I see a couple of shorter passes being turned into huge gains and a 40+ yarder outta Moss. Of course, that isn't a PREDICTION, but rather what I think is most likely.

I'm thinking it's going to be CP. I think the forecast calls for rain so don't be surprised if we try and keep it on the ground more than airing it out. CP will be the difference maker in this one.

Defensive secondary. If they are able to contain their WRs from getting deep while tackling on the short routes (ahem Carlos Rogers), I believe we can keep them from scoring. Of course, that will all be contingent on our offense taking care of its own business.

I think Moss can have a good game. Woodson has been nursing a sore foot so if Moss gets matched up against him there could be some big plays.

If our team is going to win this game, it will be our defense that wins it for us, so I think that as a unit, our defense will have to be the player of the game. If they aren't, we are not going to win( or rather, it will be very hard to win).

This may surprise some people (Ahk), but I'm going with Clinton Portis. We need to have a good game out of Portis. He needs to play inspired football. I know I have been down on Portis for a while. I've thought about it, and I think it comes from how much I loved Champ Bailey, and the fact that I think Portis is a selfish A**hole. Something I watched today sort of changed my mind in a way..... A video on YouTube titled 3 kings. Basically it is a weekend long outreach to the community and the kids in the area where a whole bunch of Miami U alumn come together and just give encouragement to kids and spend time with them.

Well, anyway, if Portis has a huge game.... So do the skins'.

That's why you're not seeing those seam routes from him and the fact that Campbell threw two INT's trying to get it to him.

I think that one of the runners finally breaks loose tomorrow and has a big game, probably Portis. I think that we are much better than a 130 yard per game rushing team.

This is true and IMO we should have seen this coming and picked up a larger receiver either in the draft or via free agency this past offseason.

Hopefully using McCardell and Thrash, both are better in the short to intermediate passing game across the middle, more will free up the over protection of Cooley.

Not only are they keying on Cooley, but the fact that the entire right side of the O line is new, compared to the Jansen/ Thomas right side, I think Mr. Cooley is being asked to block a little more. Just my opinion. But to get to the point of the Thread, I think the Safeties will play a big part in the game.

I would say our secondary will win or lose this game. With no running game we willhave to contain Favre to win and I look for a big day from our safeties defending the slant, which seems to be a staple of GB offense. I say TAylor makes a huge play and causes a turnover late in the game

i would love for CP to have an oustanding game - i'm anxious to see how the knee is this week -- i hope he'll be able to make the hard cuts - at the same time they will be expecting run so Big Mike might just open that can of whoop a** again

ill say cooley on offense and taylor on d. cooley should have a big game here soon, taylor should too if we get pressure on the qb

Cooley will play a major role this week, as he has every week. Hopefully, Moss will make some big plays, as he should be able to torch Al Harris. We have to go deep with Moss though, Harris is good at jumping the hitches.

They are asking Cooley to block more due to the right side of the line being new. I think the right side of the line has stood up to the pass rush even better than the coaches expected. And Cooley is now getting paid like other tight ends that get focused on and block and still produce so he is going to have to. Teams scheme for Gates, Tony Gonzalez, Todd Heap and those guys block for backs that have put up great years (ie. Tomlinson, Holmes, Johnson, Lewis) . I think Sean Taylor has a big week this week.

GB seems to have trouble covering TE's - i hope we can take advantage of that -- we know JC loves to find Cooley

that is true. and if our defense can prevent them from scoring, it may frustrate favre into making mistakes by trying to force throws he shouldnt.

I think the difference maker is Randle-El. If he plays, the GB corners will have their hands full, leaving McCardell and Cooley to be defended by LBs and third string CBs. Also opens up the running game for Portis and Betts in the secondary (they'll probably have to go cover 2 on Moss and Randle-El) and LBing core (there will be fewer LBs on the field if we go 3 wide).

I think we have the match up advantage if ARE is in...

My pick also, with (hopefully) the D line doing what they did last week. Stop Favre and our running game will carry us.
