On another week when we barely squeak by, the Cowboys hogtie the Birds and display what a revved up offense can accomplish.
The Eagles played uninspired, but maybe they were just overwhelmed. I hope we step up against Dallas.
Do you think they're that good? How confident do you feel that we can take them down?

Isn't the game still going on? But i guess its essentially over since T.O is doing everything he can to get back at the iggle fans.
This is good, lets get some good tape on how to abuse the birds in the passing game and we might have our first TD by a WR.

Cowsquirrel Jason Witten just ran the ball 25 yards or so without a helmet. Amazing. I think he's a WR or a TE. You're sure to see it all week on replays.

We need to steal one of the two Dallas games this year, but that's going to be a tall order with the way they're scoring.

They have had some off days though, so it's not out of the realm of possibility that we can win one against them.

Take away TO and they aren't so mighty. I am astounded that the Eagles didn't focus on TO at all.
Other than TO, we will need to commit to stopping the run when Barber is in. He is a hard runner.
If we can accomplish those two things, Romo should be good for a couple turnovers.

Witten is a baller, he let it be known.

No doubt but that has been known. You can't take away all their weapons, so I would start with TO and Barber. Witten is going to get his but he can be, at least, contained.

Here's a video of the play that got Witten on the horse trailer.

After watching that video, Chris Long(UVA) and Witten look very much alike.

If you mean Dallass, it's in the matchups, and it doesn't look good. If you mean the Iggles I hope they don't recover suddenly this coming game.

IMO, and I haven't read past your post in this thread, I think the 'girls offense may be the 2nd best in the NFL right now. You can say who have they played. It doesn't matter who they have played. They are putting up points in bunches.

While true, our DBs [except for taylor] have hands of stone so i'm not so sure unless he fumbles the ball. Dang, we can't get pressure either....lol

I think Barber is by far their best player. Granted I didn't watch last night, but he has really (unfortunately) matured into one of the better runners in the NFL. I never feared Jones... Actually I can't remember the last dallass RB I feared (during their renaissance era I feared the O-line more than Emmitt). Barber seems like the real deal to me and watching him is part of the reason I was so ticked at Portis. The guy is just so explosive and until yesterday, it was part of the reasonI felt that Portis was looking a little slow (I never thought CP was soft as he looks for contact in the open field). I think that obviously TO is a key cog, but it starts with squashing their run game IMO. If we consistently force Romo into third and long, he has a tendancy to make bad throws... Its amazing how much his accuracy/rating go up once he breaks the pocket. We need to be very disciplined in the pass rush.

TO is afraid of Sean Taylor and I am hopeful that LaRon will give him a second reason to be afraid. Springs covers TO very well singled up. My concern is more Creighton, who always seems to have a better than normal game against us, and Barber, who is scoring TDs every game out.
I think we can victimize the Cownotmen the same way the Bills almost did. Smack the living crap out of them and hit Romo like Piņata. If our schizo offense has a "on" night we can beat the Cownotmen in Dallass. If our O-line struggles containing Ellis and Wade, it will be a long, painful night. The game will come down to exploiting the Dallass safeties in the passing game and controlling the LOS with the run game. If we can't run on the Dallass 3-4, missing Furguson as it is, and we don't exploit Roy "and a double cheeseburger" Williams over the middle we will lose.

I think we can and should beat the Cowgirls. Until this week, I'll admit I thought they were a fraud, having beaten a bunch of scrub teams and getting stomped by New England. After watching how they destroyed Philly, I'm starting to get worried ... but not o the point where I think we're an inferior team, however. I still think we're the better team, mainly because our Defense has been excellent so far this year (NE game notwithstanding), and the offense can score if we run the ball as well as we did against the Jets. The Dallas defense doesn't really scare me that much, except Ware.
Anyway, that's my $0.02
