Freerice.com is an online site which donates rice to world's most needy without any cost to you-all you need to do is go there, play the vocabulary game and with each correct word, 10 grains of rice will be donated through the UN World Food Programme. Not only will you be helping, your vocab will improve!

So whenever you have a moment, go learn a few words and make a significant contribution! And spread the word!

I found this on the BBC's website here. (http://news.bbc.co.uk/2/hi/europe/7088447.stm)

Personally, I suck at this... I have never heard of a lot of these words but, hey, free rice for the poor and I have actually learned a few words in the process.

umm... yeah... lol, I need to broaden my vocabulary.

You have provided a good meal for some one in need while also proving how intelligent you are... while I provided a good snack to someone in need while learning a few words. That's cool.

That was fun. I stopped at 2000, level 46 (thanks to a lot of seriously lucky guesswork). Time to dust the cobwebs off the ol' dictionary.

edit: I kept going a little longer (2460, level 44) and it began to repeat many of the words. Weird.
