Okay Mike..

Alot lately, I'm getting the invalid_session message after posting a message. I'm automatically logged on, and it's not a case of me coming back to the computer after a long lay off and then trying to post a message. I will hit the back button several times, then my message will be posted. What sucks is when it corrects itself, the "view posts since last logged in" counter goes to 0, and all that info is lost. It happens to me at least once every other day and started about the beginning of this week.

I haven't been getting the invalid session thing, but I have noticed that sometimes it marks posts as read, that I haven't read yet and says posts since last visit is zero, even though looking at the date/time posted there are quite a few that I have not read yet.

I've noticed this too and unfortunately we're at the hands of the developers of phpbb. I've researched the invalid_session alot and they can't really make changes without comprising security. I get the invalid_session every once in awhile and I usually just refresh the previous screen. Some of it is also attributed to the cookie that the developer creates on each individual PC. I have problems with post being marked as read all the time at work. I believe personally that the cookies at differently across the different versions of Windows out there.

I apologize that there is nothing I can do and this issue has been bought up with the phpbb on numerous ocassions from alot of different boards.

An avatar is a small picture that you can upload from your user control panel (UserCP). There is an option for edit avatar and when you scroll to the bottom, you can actually upload a small picture from your computer.

As for the ranks (scalper to brave) they're based on number of post.

Papoose (0-75)
Scalper (76-150)
Buck (151-300)
Brave (301-450)
Comanchero (451-600)
Sentinel (601-750)
Scout (751-900)
Code Talker (901-1050)
Warrior (1051-1300)

From the image host site you have to right click on the image and then click 'copy image location', then paste it into the image icon window, for it to work.

From the image host site you have to right click on the image and then click 'copy image location', then paste it into the image icon window, for it to work.
