On all hR Game Ball threads, do NOT pick a UNIT. Pick one player!

i'd have given it to ramsey hadnt been his performance after his int. he just went downhill from there until the final drive. but hall performed all night, when we needed it the most.

It was a defensive struggle most of the night so I went with Arrington.

I said Trotter, coming off a season ending injury he led the team in tackles and made some key plays.

I voted for Ramsey.

He had a great game.

His game passer rating of 93.6 was much better than his average from last season. (Also better than 5 of his 7 games last year)

and

His passing percentage of 73.9 % was a career record for him. (What a way to start a season!)

and

He had a 24 yard run scramble to set up a game winning field goal. (By the way...24 yards is a LONG a$$ run. Stephen Davis only had one run of 24 yards of more in his 207 attempts last season!)

To say Ramsey didn't step up and perform above the norm for him is crazy! In fact, a lot of people said he had a bad 3rd quarter, but he still threw for 57% in that quarter...which is still 6% better than his average last season.

Gotta go with Ramsey. Michael Wilbon said it best. "When forced to do what he does worst, Ramsey did it anyway."

I voted LaVar, but came close to voting for Coles. His yardage in the 1st half was awesome, and he may have doubled that production for the game if the entire passing game hadn't tanked.

I went with Hall only because of the pressure he must have felt. A 50 yarder and a game winner.

Ramsey. Stated the reason in prior threads and do not want to rehash them here.

I said Ramsey for the fact that every critic and every publication has pinned the hopes of our season on him. He did not wilt under pressure, performed beyond anyone's expectations in the first half and led us to the game winning drive in the second half. He looks as if he has matured greatly in the offseason.

I said Hall...let'sface it, he scored 10 of the 16 points including the game winner, and a 50 yarder!
Although I had to think for a while because Arrington was sooooo damn good. To me, those are the only two logical choices.

I would have picked the LBs, but you said ONE player, so I voted LaVar.
