I got my DirecTV installed today so I get to see them play this weekend no matter freakin what! I'm going to so trash the place with chips and drinks...It's going to be freaking AWESOME!!!!! Anybody within range of Newark is invited!!!!(just know it's a small place)

edit - didn't explain why it's my fault - When something cool happens to me, something bad usually happens.

jporterweb!

I am impressed by the bold statement of how much power and influence your daily life has on the Washington Redskins!
;) ;) ;)

:kidding:

In all seriousness, enjoy your new DirectV hookup. I have been watching the NFLpackage for 2 years now and it is GREAT!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I was an early disciple of the DirecTV Way. As I said once before, without it, my life would be horrible, living out here in Minnesota and being a fan of the Washington Redskins and the NJ Devils.

That plus all Cable Companies are tyrants, and now I don't have to deal with them!

Enjoy it!

jporterweb, I feel your excitement bro! I would die without my dish as well.

Now all we need to do is get robert to buy himself one so he can catch all Skins games as well. Its a great feeling to know that you'll get to watch the Redskins no matter what. Thats why I hate preseason games.

Anyways, congrats jporter...

Congrats JPorter! Enjoy it man. I will be switching to Direct TV if they ever take me off of the DC TV Market.

Sounds exciting BUT the real question is - What are you hooking up to it. 73" Widescreen I hope.

I have DirecTV, but I'm glad that I don't have to shell out that $200 for the Sunday Ticket.

I wanted to get the ticket this year eventhough I don't need it for the Skins games, but the wifie shot that down like a Patriot missile shooting down a SCUD. That's what I meant. lol

I heard from a friend of a friend that it is possible to get Sunday ticket and every other channel for no additional charge. Now, being an honest citizen I wouldnt know about this first hand.;) ;) ;) ;) ;)

If only I had DirecTV.... I'd really like to be able to watch all the games at once. Play over, change channel, play over, change channel, play over.....

Moved to FL in 93 and it was terrible (and so were the Skins) not to be able to watch the Skins every week. I joined a Football league that played on Sundays just to keep from going insane.

Then in 1995 DTV and the NFL introduced the Sunday Ticket and my life was born again. Better than before..........

A cable man was by my house a couple years back to install my cable modem and told me that the NFL Ticket would go over $200 soon. I told him I would sell the house and my wife and a buy an RV with a dish if I had to, to afford it. (I still have my house and my wife) $12 per week? Bargin!
