There are no choices, dont make your own choices, keep the question the way it is. There is no option of both for this poll or neither for this poll, just follow directions and choose ONE!:D

I say that because my Redskin family here likes to stray and find ways to do things. Just answer it as is. :wacky:

Champ is a great player but Lavar is the leader and heart of the team.

It HAS to be Lavar. This is why. We can find another CB that can be close to Champ, talent wise, eventually. For what Champ wants, we can find someone slightly worse and pay a lot less.
Lavar on the other hand is the best LB in the game, and his talent does not come around too often. He's a once in a decade or two talent, while Champ is a once in a 4 or 5 year talent. This is not to take anything away from Champ, he's an amazing player, but Lavar has to be the #1 priority. He is just more rare.

I think you've got it backwards, JS.

Another Lavar will be easier to come by than another Champ, but I picked Lavar because he fires the team up more than Champ does. I think we will keep both though.

Mr. Arrington for me.

I like Champ alot but don't like the way he handled the renegotiations. Lavar is not only a beast on the field, but he is now the face of the Redskins much like Darryl Green was. I voted for Lavar.

Lavar gets my vote. I remember the draft on TV when we got him and Chris. While the Skins were on the clock, they showed film of Lavar diving over the players on the line of scrimage to get to the ball carrier. It was amazing to watch. Against the Jets, as in every game, he was all over the place, making diving tackles, and just generally giving up his body to the fight. Champ is coming across as a money hungry opportunist. I say make the offer, 'take it or leave it', and put the franchise player tag on him if he refuses.

Tough choice, but I chose LA since he's the most vocal of the two leaders. Pretty shocked to see only 1 vote for Champ so far.

Although if the tables were turned and LA was up for an extenstion, and had broken off negotiations then I'm sure the majority would be w/ Champ.

I'm not feeling too great about Champ being here since he's never made it public that he WANTS to be here.

This is pretty funny because I was going to start the exact same poll, no kidding. Even though it's tough for some people, it's not even close for me, I voted Lavar. Plain and simple he is a beast on that football field. He makes everybody around him fired up and better. Not taking anything away from Champ, he's an outstanding player, no doubt. However, I think Lavar is more important to the team right now-I'm not even taking champ and his contract into consideration. I think good cornerbacks are always coming out. I remember when Woodson came out and everybody thought it would be a long time before a cb of that talent came out and then comes Champ. Heck, just this year the cowgirls got newman who many think can be better than champ one day (highly unlikely). I remember when the skins got Lavar, Kiper said this is the first player he's ever watched that he considered a "touchdown stopper". No question Lavar was the best player in the draft that year, as some say Champ was the best player the year before. Anyway, I degress. I simply feel that right now if it came down to it Lavar is more important to the team right now, especially now that he's playing like he's always wanted to-the same type of defense he played at Penn State.

I would say to keep Lavar.....

Teams could not throw on Champs side and we still lose, but.....

YOU CAN' T AVOID ARRINGTON!!!!!

Lavar wants to be a Redskin.

Champ, when asked if he wants to be a Redskin next year, said "No Comment".

I voted Arrington!

Gotta go with Arrington for all reasons listed above. He's got the fire, he's got the heart.

I voted LaVar "no comment"as to why.

I don't know how to break to everyone, but if Lavar ever finds out he can get more money playing for another team, he do everything he can to leave.

If I vote with my heart, then I vote for Lavar. But guys, shutdown corners are PREMIUM. So voting with my head, I have to say Champ.

LaVar. Plays a more important position and wants to be here.

Arrington: with my heart, he is my favorite.

Champ: with my head.

Because with Trotter & Armstead we can better afford the loss of Arrington; than Champ with Smoot & Bauman. Trotter could take over as our #1 LB and we could play a number of LBs, Smoot & Bauman simply could not handle the #1 and we'd have to find a new #1.

Exactly. Shutdown cornerbacks are more important than dominant outside linebackers.

The first poll was much more evenly split. This is more about fallout from Champ's assinine comments.
Any player who looks objectively at what the players bring to the field would have to come down on the side of Champ. The Jets threw 2 balls his way. That means he shut down an entire side of the field..........
