Outstanding essay. I can't imagine how the players are going to get through 2games in 5 days. They're going to be emotionally exhausted.

Great read Flave. It is amazing how much Sean Taylor & Art Monk's approach to the game & media was so similar.

The best this team can do is not win out. The best it can do is represent us as Sean’s extended family on Monday at his funeral. Maybe when that day passes then I will think about football again. I hope down the road I feel the same way I felt about the game last Sunday, when I was able to say “Oh well its just a game”. This week however I will simply feel hollow inside, because a tragedy that lets face it happens day after day, hit close to home, a tragedy that took one of my Redskins family away. Our Shining Star will never be forgotten, but he is gone and Football will never quite seem the same.
My thoughts exactly. Good read.

Thanks for your article. Hit the center. My feelings also were for those left behind, particularly his fiance and his daughter.
When a senior citizen close to us dies it hurts no less, but does not leave the agonizing question of "WHY". To see such promise taken away so young provides no answer to this question.
