DAMN! Thanks for the heads up dj...Sad news indeed.

I kinda expected Johnny to pass....his wife died back in May. My grand dad died 3 months after my grand mother passed. Seems like he just gave up.

John Ritter is a VERY big surprise. I was just watching "3 company" this morning on Nick at Nite. I loved that show when I was younger.

I hadn't heard about any one of them. I'm spending way to much time at hR....;)

At least there are good people here that will let you know when something important outside hR happens.

Johnny Cash was expected, although sad nonetheless, but he's with his June now...

John Ritter blew me away. Huge fan! He was a very decent man and his career was just starting to blow up again. I feel bad for his family.

Very, very well said AGG.

Minnesota Mike, same goes to you too. What gets me is that I watched the news last night and didn't hear a thing about it.

I agree PSF. I found out on Friday that he has a 5 year daughter.....just heartbreaking.

This puts ABC in a peculiar bind. I wonder what they will do with the show now.

That had to be tough for his castmates to see him collapse on the set the way he did and to hear that he passed on.

I agree guys, 3's company was huge when I was a kid as many of the 30 somethings here will say, I am blown away by this, Ritter is a huge blow for me, I really loved his new show also. Johnny Cash was expected but still sad. Seems to me there is a message in John Ritters death... no matter how healthy you are we all need regular check ups for this very reason, even if they don't find anything wrong atleast we know.

RIP John Ritter

RIP Johnny Cash

Sad day indeed

3's company was cute in its way but as the biggest Bundyfile in the western hemosphere, I loved the combination of Ritter and Katey Segal (Peggy)

If you looked at Ritter now compared to when he was younger you know he kindda let himself go, but I still never saw this coming.
