Collins was ridiculous. Total team effort for sure, but everything grinds to a halt last night if Todd doesn't consistently make the right play.

LMAO! That is great!

I went Collins b/c he surprised me most. I think when Portis plays with an edge he is still one of the best in thbe league. Someone we need to keep that edge honed for a full season.

Tom Collins....errr........Todd Collins.

He's playing some great football. After the way he played in pre-season, I can't tell you how surprised I am.

Loved the whole team on this one. But Portis is really a special player, he has such an impact, I voted for CP.

Clinton Portis. CNY's right: We're hitching our wagon to him and riding him as far as he'll take us. Kudos to Al Saunders for his playcalling as well.

Portis was outstanding IMO. That's a tough defense and he really took the bull by the horns.

1. Collins. once he gets in a rhythm he is smooth and accurate, makes great decisions, and the offense scores points. i think the team is inspired by his cool leadership, knowledge and experience, in the light of his under-dog status.
2. Portis played with fire...running, catching, blocking, and the TD pass. it took him a while to get healthy and get in game-shape, but all things considered, he is definitely one of the best in the league right now.
3. Moss had a good game and made a crazy circus catch for a TD
4. Defense stopped the #1 rushing attack

edit: Joe Gibbs, for all of his gaffs, has this team unified and playing inspired football with lots of heart and guts.

Whoever told Coach Gibbs to challenge the 12 man call.

The entire limping, distracted team showed up. I chose option Redskins B because by saying it again it gives emphasis.

Gotta go with the coach who spotted the 12 men on the field.

Yes, what redwolf said. This is tough for me to pick. I think Todd, then I think Clinton, then ya think how the O-line to contributed to their success. On the other side you have the defense. That was the best game a redskins D-line has played in a long time. To absolutely shut down that rushing attack is amazing to me. Smoot and Springs also came up with some huge interceptions.

Bottom line, when I really put thought into it, I think the player(s) of the game is the entire D-line. They set the tone to that game which was huge. They shut down AP and Chester all night. Huge props to the entire team, but ESP the d-line.

I go with Clinton Portis. It is quite simple really when Clinton is given a little bit of breathing room he simply goes out and performs. We have with the advent of a Collins run offence realised how dangerous Portis is on a screen pass, why it took this long heaven only knows.

The Running Back screen would make Jason Campbell twice as dangerous yet we rarely call it for Jason, nor did we for Brunell or Ramsey for that matter.

Portis no doubt. Without his running, Collins wouldn't have been able to throw.

im gonna say portis. his running, receiving, throwing, and blocking keptt the vikings front 7 off balance all night. you also have to give props to the guys in the trenches on offense and defense. both of our lines pretty much kept minnesotas #1 rushing offense and #1 rushing defense in check
