What Redskin gift did Santa bring?

Santa hooked me up with an authentic burgundy Theismann jersey. I was totally suprised. I'm gonna wear it all week for this last big game. Happy Holidays to all the hR community.

Santa also brought my wife a Tar Heels championship banner to hang from the rafters... Very cool gift.

i havent gotten anything yet because my son cant really get out and shop for me since he's only 14, but we'll go visit my parents this afternoon and i am expecting something from LL Bean because my mom is sick with cancer and cant get out shopping either.

so what i have so far is:

1. my mom is still alive for another Christmas.
2. my son and i have our good health.
3. my son was real happy with the xbox360 i gave him.
4. a victory over the Vikings.

I gave myself an awesome Sean Taylor 75th throwback jersey (my first jersey purchase EVER :) ). I love it -- I'm wearing it right now, as a matter of fact. The only drawback is that since it's made for a man, it almost comes to my knees (makes a great nightshirt at the moment). I'm thinking about going to the seamstress and having a few inches lopped off the bottom.

A drawing my 15 year old son drew for me of Taylor hitting t.o it is very,very,very good and that is not just a proud father bragging either.
He had been working on it for weeks at school and his art teacher and friends just where amazed by how good it looks.
It is all done in pencil and shaded in pencil and it is simply breath taking.
We are going out tomorrow and getting a frame for it.
He told me today that he still cant believe he is dead.Taylor is his favorite player even though he is a bucs fan.

Posted this is the wrong thread, so moved it here - My son got his #21 ST jersey for Christmas and I wasn't prepared for his response. He opened the gift and was soooo surprised that I was able to get the jersey for him for Christmas... He kept saying “oh my gosh mom, no you didn’t… how did you?” … and then he put his head down in the jersey and cried.. and cried... he couldn't get himself together for about a minute or two and then looked up at me and said "this means so much, mom.. I just loved Sean Taylor"... My son is 14 and I’ve never seen him more happy or emotional about a gift on Christmas day.

I really hope ST's family and friends know just how much his fans loved him. I've never seen my son so emotional about a gift. It meant the world to him, and that only speaks volumes about ST's impact on this team, fans, and about his life as a man and player. He will truly be missed.

hey that's a good story. my son just turned 14 on 12/18 and Sean Taylor was his favorite player in the NFL. sometimes when you share a tragedy it can bring you closer together, maybe that's the silver lining.
