I don't feel too bad for them. They had a chance to control their own destiny last week and crapped out.

You have to win at home against a division foe who has nothing to play for and you get crushed. No sympathy here.

Yeah, that sucks to win 10 games and miss the playoffs. But I'm sure glad this team won those 10 games since Dallass has their 1st rounder this year.

My thoughts exactly. I felt for the Browns, as close to a feel-good story as has happened this year, and a long time non-playoff team. Crenell saved his job, but without the playoffs is no longer a contender for coach of the year, which IMHO should be Gibbs' in a landslide.

I was rooting for the Browns because the Cowboys own their pick, too bad they didn't make it to the playoffs

i dont feel sorry for them.. they had it in their hands (like minnesota) and let it slip away

let's see if they can channel that into next year..

let's see if they can channel that into next year..They are gonna need to keep the talent they have on offense long enough to build a D. They need to get a hold of a young quality RB as well.

look at green bay... or even dallas.. you dont need to spend a first round pick to get a quality RB

At first I had sympathy for the Browns, but after seeing that they lost to the Cards and the Bengals in December, I guess they don't deserve to be in the hunt anymore. Their own fault.

I feel for them. If they can do anything to fix that god awful defense they could be a threat next year.

They need to decide if their man is Anderson or Quinn, and then deal the other one while their value is still sky high. They could get a lot of picks out of a trade like that.

I can see them getting alot for Anderson, but Quinn? He's shown nothing and any value he'd have would be from name recognition.

it's not a rich qb draft...Quinn could get a high first rounder if the browns found the right partner (ahem Baltimore)

I thought I saw 4 highly rated QBs on the boards... which would be about the same amount as last year, maybe slightly better. And I don't think trades between division rivals happens very often.

The Browns won't get back even value, right now, if they traded Quinn. They can get value for Anderson but it wouldn't be smart unless they are sure that Quinn will be as good or better for them.

It sounds as if Cleveland is fishing a bit for offers on Anderson.
