I am really proud of the RESOLVE that the Redskins have shown thus far this year. In the Jets game, it was close throughout, but the team hung in there and won the game in the final seconds. Last year we did not have a kicker who was even capable of making a game winning FG.

In todays game vs. the Falcons, we were behind 17-0 (almost 24-0) AND DIDN'T GIVE UP!! We kept plugging away and kept our cool and pulled out the victory. LAST YEAR, THERE IS NO WAY WE WIN THIS GAME. No way.

There is a different attitude about this team this year. No doubt about it. It's ONLY 2 games, but it is still encouraging. Man, did our "free agents" show up today. Coles was unbelievable. Trung had a good day on the ground. Bowen had a key interception and played pretty good at Safety. Peppi Zellner had a sack and was getting some push. I'm still waiting for Chad Morton to get going, but I know that he will (as soon as we start opening up some holes for him).

Great game. Hope we can continue the momentum.

I couldn't agree more. Last year's team would have folded. I believe the turning point was actually not on the field, but it seemed Bruce Smith was telling everybody the D got the stop now it was the offenses turn to get going. Back during norv's tenure, the redskins would have found a way to lose this one. Much better team than last year's.

Coles shocked me with his return and how well he played despite the injury.

Difference in 2002 and 2003:

1. Attitude and persistence. Somethign we have not had in 8-9 years. Never give up.

2. Speed

3. Play Maker on offense: Coles.

Actually Dick Stockton brought up a good point. Imagine how much further along Ram woudl be in the offense if Spurrier woudl have just left him play last season.

Coles, is going to be worth every cent Snyder paid him. He was a true beast out there today.

You had to bring it up didn't you. You know this is a sour issue for me because I felt he should have played all season last year. I believe it was Johnston who said it though.

I am really beginning to be a BIG Coles fan. I think I may actually get his jersey (I just don't get any player's jersey......i.e. Brad Johnson, Jeff George, Deion Sanders). I think he will finish his career here. Man, now more than ever, I HOPE THAT WE CAN RESIGN BAILEY!!!!!!!

I can't believe Sports Authority is still trying to sell Matthews jersies.

I can't believe anyone has bought a Matthews jersey.
