Did anybody get the scoop on what led to the words exchanged between Collins and Sellers after Collins called a TO in the 4th quarter?

To speculate; Collns didn't like what he saw but Sellers did, and thought that they should have run what was called.

We'll never know. Chances are Sellers was lined up wrong.

That's the way it appeared to me.

Sellers had a terrible game. If he lined up wrong it just was part of it.

Even CP tried to get him corrected.j

Sellers boned it.

Sellers shouldn't be arguing with his QB, on the field, anyway.

Big Mike lined up in three different places, none of which were right apparently:smash:

S@#T happens. Alot of things went wrong in the game and big Mike is an emotional guy. I don't think we will see him arguing with TC next year.

Ya he lined up wrong. Portis tried to tell him where to get but couldnt get him in the right place. So Collins took the time out then told him where he should be.

So with Sellers already having a bad game yelled back at Collins. You dont really yell at a person who knows exactly where every player should be. Seriously thats like yelling at the coach.

exactly.

and on a side note, Rock Cartwright needs to shut his mouth too. i'm sick of him getting up and jawing at whomever happens to be near him.

With the timeout we'll never realy know what the call was originally unless someone spills the beans (which I would not expect) and the part that realy sucks is who knows? Was it a good call that very well may have won the game? Yes I saw Clint trying to tug on Mikes shirt to snap him out of it, and what I realy did like (may sound weird) was Todd putting him in his place!! And I hope that Jason took that in! Mikes game was so poor the other day overall, in all facets I was stunned as a big fan of his. Do I now want to trade him for Hoyte?:) no but I was appalled at what I've called his Bryan Johnson act. I realy didn't like the 4th and short either, even with the questionable placement by the refs, man get that yard convincingly! Without question! I know, I know he was behind the guard of doom, but still. Not trying to R.R. him but again as a big fan he let us down big time with his sub-Fabs blocking (ok an exaggeration, but not by much!) causing the timeout and that block in the back,,,,,,,,,reasons for dismissal? I won't go that far, but thoughts please.

Agree! I guess he just wants to be Brian Mitchell without the talent! Found myself waiting for flags!

Give him an E for effort.

And give Sellars an F for knowledge of the system and poise under playoff conditions. Of course at his age maybe he will prove that an old dog can learn new tricks.

It was really loud down there on the field, so misunderstandings were bound to happen. But I don't like the loss of composure by either player.

Mike Sellers had a great season, unfortunately he played poor in front of all his family and in his hometown. I just wonder if he overhyped it all in his mind, and he didn't play well by putting to much pressure on himself. But, he shouldn't be yelling at our offensive leader on the field. I am glad Collins put him in his place at that point, but it sure didn't help the team at all. We need to be a solid unit, not bickering with each other.

Say what you want about Todd, but I'm glad he showed some emotion on Sellers' botched lineup. You would NEVER see that from someone like Eli Manning, who I consider the worst QB leader in the league.

Yeah, Collins was definitely in control. We need that from our O leader. Collins knows and Mike should've listened instead he argued.

Collins got the last word in and was in total control. Sellers messed up. I don't blame those two for getting emotional. Collins handled it the right way. I don't think JCamp would've have done the same thing. I hope in a few years, he'll have developed into the type of leader than could, if needed, yell back at a monster like Sellers as authoritatively as TC did. It doesn't have much to do with strength or size but its more about who's the true leader and who is truly in control.

I'm sure those two squashed in the locker room after the game. In fact, if I had to guess, Big Mike probably ended up apologizing after seeing the film.
