He's taken a little razzing in here, so i wanted to open up the lines for everyone to jump aboard the RBC that we got going.
Betts and Canidate are a great combo attack and i'm glad to have both of them. I was glad to see trung play well and i hope that he is starting to relieve the doubts of some of you. It looked like he was getting close to really breaking some open.
So i have to give it up to the running game again, but especially trung this time.

Yes, I think that all of our offensive woes have been solved. I was worried about my running game, but Betts and Canidate proved me wrong.

Ahh, he needs to work on his blocking when we're being blitzed. His running is fine, but we're a pass oriented team and picking up the blitz is very important. I'm not jumping on.

I am not on either. He played well today but he has to block. Was that block Betts had when he crossed in front of Ram to make sure he got the guy..sweet

That was sweet Skins, but he had a bad 1st half too when it came to blocking.

Dspite the blocking, I'm definitely liking this combo a lot. They'll get better at picking up the blitz as the year goes on, as will the O-line.

I found it interesting that the announcers said defensive coaches on the league says there's a flaw in Spurrier's offense. You can get to the QB easy.
He had better remove that flaw and fast.

Even as horrendus as the blocking was, i still give the backs a lot of credit. The line were acting like matadors and that is their main responsibility.
Coming into the season we didn't have an established back. Against two pretty decent defenses we ran for 4 - 5 yards a carry. They deserve props IMO. The line does too for run blocking.

the 3-4 D gives O lines fits in picking up the right guy. The Falcons do as good a job as any at mixing up the rushing lanes and confusing the line.
Next weeks opp the Giants play a 4-3 and probably do the lest amount of stunting in the league. I know the Giants front 4 is very strong, but their style plays right into our O line strenghts.
You read it here first.

I'm not jumping on yet either, his blocking is very suspect and the true test of his running ability will come in the next few weeks when we face NFL elite D's... stay tuned....

I think that they did a much better job of this in the second half.In the first half isaw Trung,Johnson, etc.miss blocks as well as Fiore one time. Not sure if Samuels played a lot better or not, didnt see much of him that i remember. In any scheme you cant have guys missing blocks hitting youre QB from his blind side.I think Spurrier will do a better job when the o-line and backs do a better job.

Yeah, if he would have run those WR screens a little earlier, he would have taken pressure off of Ramsey.

I have been on! I think the guy deserved a chance and he is proving himself. You have to remember he and Betts are practically rookies but they will get better with time.

Neither off or on - Running wise they both did what they are PAID to do. Betts had a questionable day with only a 3.1 ypc. Canidate picked it up this week with a 5.9 ypc. BUT they both are sooooo WEAK at picking up their blocks and that's something the coaches are NOT going to be able to fix in a week. This game coming up against the NYG concerns me alot.
