I used these #s, which I think are correct for him today.

Attempts: 39
Completions: 25
Yards: 346
TDs: 2
Interceptions: 0

His QB rating by those #s gives Ramsey a QB rating of 110

I'm loving that fat ZERO on interceptions

He had a 91 rating last week. The INT brouht his rating down.

The key with Ramsey is to get the ball out before the rush gets him. The oline wasn't great but some of those sacks were on Ramsey. He needs to get rid of it . However, he is getting much better.

Impressive was the fact, he was rattled horribly in the first quarter, was plagued with two fumbles, but the kid hung in, kept control, got into a groove,a nd led this team to a 33-31 win. No folding, no getting flustered, he hung in,a nd made things happen.

Wait until about mid-season and the line has "gelled" . By then Ramsey and Coles will have telepathy.:banger:

I believe most of the sacks should be attributed to our backs missing their blocks. Both Trung and Betts stunk in the first half in picking up the blitz. They did much better in the 2nd half though. There was one play when Ramsey did hold the ball too long but like you said, he's getting much better.

Mike is correct that our backs don't block at all. Even Bryan Johnson missed a block, which led to a sack and fumble. The offensive line seemed to have a hard time getting their signals right in this game. I'd chalk it up to the crowd noise, except for what happened against the Jets.

When Ramsey had time to throw he shredded the Falcons.

How wierd is this....

Ramsey is fourth in the NFC with a 104.3 rating and Donovan McNabb is last, even behind J Mcnown from Arizona with a lousy 41.4 rating. Wander where all the experts are that said Redskin would have a medicore year cause ramsey was not ready. Hmmmmmmm

McNabb has faced Tampa Bay and New England. Some pretty good defenses there.

SonnyJ also pointed out the Patrick is often dropping back in seven steps rather than five which he quickly reference as a good way to get yourself in trouble as a QB.

Bryan Johnson is the one back who's supposed to be a good blocker and he left Ramsey for lunch meat on that goal line sack and fumble. What a whiff block! I can't blame that one on Ramsey.

Mark I am just as confident in Ramsey as you are but I think it's way too early to start declaring Ramsey a success and McNabb bad. McNabb's certainly not bad and Patrick has looked great but two games is nothing.

On ESPN radio today Shaun Salsbury said Ramsey looked good and was far ahead of where he should be as a second year QB.

Declaring Ramsey a success? Hell yeah I am. I am showing him as a success in what he has learned, and hoiw much he has changed. He has take on leadership and that will mean a ton

What does Ramsey have to do to win some of you guys over! Throw the Ball 70 yards down the field and run down and catch it himself?

I saw it, but I have to say Ramsey threw it a little behind himself, which show he needs to display better arm strength...ermm accuracy in his throws.

OH! That was probably when I logged on to HR during the game! Trying to keep up with all those posts during the game was tough.
