kick and punt returning are shameful. Where the hell is the blocking? Why woudl we spedn all that $$$ on Mortona nd not get blocking help. What a waste of $$$. The fair catches have to stop as well. These guys look scared to make the catch and return.
Were 2-0, that is awesome, and after two games, I believe our return units are the weakest part of this team.

Also, our backs need to pick up the blitz much better than they did in the first half.

I didn't see the game ! I listened to it on the Internet. Sam Huff and Sonny J... Kept saying that the tackleing was bad. Ohulante was specified a few times.. Currious to know if you all who saw the game agree.
well guys we need blocking, the Jets main focus was on blocking. We need to practice ST's more and possibly get some starters in the action...

Didn't really notice any tackles missed by Ohalete.
I get the feeling our returners were told to make fair catches in the second half so as to not risk turnovers. We were already winning the field position battle.

I thought it but didn't say it and I believe you're correct JDS. On several of those fair catches, Morton had room to run and I didn't understand the fair catch call. The other side to it is how does Morton feel about it? Does he take it as a lack of confidence in holding on to the ball or that it's best for the team.

Did trung get sent back there? or do you mean Morton?
I think the pass blocking needs to get better... from everyone. But that was a difficult task... the 3-4 on the road in a dome with a Wade Phillips D. We shouldn't have been that bad, but hopefully that's our low point.
Why can't we get people to block?? Morton won't stand for it. He must be livid with the lack of blocking, so i look for that to get better soon.
What's up with Franz and Jimoh playing? I thought they barely made the team and they were playing on some key downs.

The only weaknesses I see right now are ST, pass rush, and pass blocking (even though in the second half that got much better). Maybe the skins need a new special teams coach, who knows? BTW, props to Patrick Johnson for downing two balls inside the 5-10 yard line even though one had to be rekicked.
