The biggest difference in this years offense is w/o a doubt Coles.
I don't think we've ever had a guy this good. I remember watching him last year and thinking "man, I wish we had a guy like coles!". This guy is hungry for the ball, tough as nails and meaner than my 3rd grade teacher. He's the real deal and worth every penny. I hope Gardner see's this and gets hungry too. He had a few bone head plays today.

Our O line is a bit overrated. Atlanta's back up NT got solid pressure up the middle all day long. Maybe Larry moore is the weak point, I don't know. Samuels and Janse had a rough 1st Q as did Fiore. Thomas was the only name I didn't hear all day which was good.

I like the mix of passing and running. The OBC is on the right track there.

The defense really played well after the 1st Q. Not sure what happened in the 1st Q but nothing went well for us.

All in all, this was a great win. Would've been very easy to fold but the never quit.

What do you guys think?

I think the heart is the best thing about today. This game would have been over, by far, if this was like the teams of years past. Instead they hung together and kept waiting for an opening.

Coles is a warrior. I agree that he is the difference maker. His fire and natural skill is a combination that is incredible. I can't wait to see him lock up with some of the upper echelon of corners.

The line was really shaky. I don't know if they are going to try to mix anything up. Probably not. They are still "gelling" (not like us), but they are going to get Big Pat killed back there. And i can't forgive them for that.

I think the offensive line is still learning the how to play together. I think they will be fine by the foruth/fifth week of the season, they will steadily become the better part of this team. If not, then Helton needs to go, cause the tools are there.

Yeah, I think the oline needs more time.

Coles is a beast and he'll make everyone else around him that much better. I loved how he chewed McCants out for lining up wrong causing Ramsey to call a timeout.

I didn't even see that, but that's exactly what DMC needs. Coles should chew him out for losing Vivica to fifty cent :smash: :twak:

Yeah coles is flat out a playmaker...have not seen much from Morton but at least he is not fumbling the dam ball like returners we have had in the past. Anyone esle notice how good a ST player Patrick Johnson is. Glad we kept him after all.

I'll be honest - I'm a little surprised on how well Coles and Ramsey have come together. I mean I knew it was going to happen, just surprised how fast it happen. AND the really good thing about, its helping RG to become a better WR too.

and to think we will have both of these guys together for years! Now I am wishing Spurrier wodul have stuck with ramsey last season and had more games under his belt. Imagine.

From what I hear, Spurrier really was adjusting all game. He wanted to attack the middle of the field because of their starting safeties being out but Atlanta covered that expecting it and Coles being down didn't help it. So they went to the perimeter and killed them on the sidelines.

One of other receivers, besides Gardner, needs to step up big because I'm sure we were all losing our breath when Coles was on the ground. I hope Taylor Jacobs can fill that role of the other speedy threat.
