Chase got the start tonight on the dline too. I really don't think the Skins have shown much of their schemes on both sides of the ball yet. I find that to be a good thing.

Very, very true there Spence. The skins need to do something about that pass rush (or lack thereof). They were lucky to face two backups, but if Collins is healthy then things will be different. Next year no excuses: the skins need to draft a quality DE that is capable of rushing the passer. BTW, where is Upshaw?

I saw Upsaw getting interviewed on the postgame show. As far as the pass rush, I though Zellner got a good push at times, but everyone else just hand fights with the O lineman.

I haven't seen too many blitzes yet. I can only recall a couple from today's game, most notably Armstead's safety and Arrington's wide-open almost-sack on either the same play as Bowen's interception or the play before it. For the Giants, I'd like to see Trotter (the worst coverage backer of the three) attacking that weak left side a lot. The left's made even weaker by the fact that Luke Petigout's doubtful for next week.

I think it's all about Bruce Smith and the sack record right now. Maybe we should blitz heavy from the left side and push 2 1/2 sacks into Bruces' arms. That said, Bruce had a strong game today.
