bright side- we are becoming a stable front office with a clear structure being built.
other side- the people who are in the positions (vinny as gm, this guy as college and pro personnel departments) may not be the best for the positions.

i dont think this has ANYTHING to do with the new HC.. it appears to be a purely FO position
what does it say about vinnie ? are they giving him his own "vinnie ?".. i mean a minion has to have his own minion..
i totally dont know about this guy.. need Akh to weigh in on this guy right about now.. maybe they have confused scott campbell with scott pioli ???
you know, one scott is as good as another, and if it works for the Pats maybe it will work for the skins ???????

Sorry, but until I see a new name and not someone getting promoted, I really don't see progress.

I'm glad to see people being placed into these offices. Now they are accountable.
This also dilutes some of the Vinny influence.

Could be worse:
Vinny Cerrato, President of the United States
or
Pope Vincent Cerrato II, Bishop of Rome
or
Vinny Cerrato, Overlord of Earth

Could be worse:
or
or
naw, the only thing worse is Vinny C. head coach of the redskins. All those things i would rather here before he was named GM

I was actually wondering just earlier today, who were the people (scouts)who found and lobbied for the aquisition of Golston, Montgomery, Blades, Doughty, Alexander and Heyer, et al. It seems obvious that it wasn't Gibbs or Snyder ferreting out these low level gems. I'm cautiously optimistic that sometime over the last couple of years, a reasonably good staff of talent evaluators has been put in place...And someone of authority was actually listening to them. Now, if we hold onto our draft choices and build on recent low level successes, that would definately be a step in the right direction.

That piece is called the liver. Its the Grappa you reflexively drink whenever you read or hear Vinny's name that does it.

grappa is some interesting stuff.. kinda like the scrapple of liquors.. made out of skins and stems. you dont really want to know what goes into it..
some of them are pretty good. expensive, also.. but harsh ones are like drinking moonshine...

mmm moonshine, i got a couple mason jars of it in NC over christmas. Has a peach flavor to it and is very smooth, yet it has some bite. It doesnt take much...

Finally, Vinny can WIN a game of raquetball. Good for him!

:), with an underlying :(
no idea who this guy is
He has been with the team for a while. His father, Marion Campbell, was head coach of the Falcons and the Eagles.

I agree. It seems that the FO has gotten better at this, but I need to see how this year's draft goes before I'm ready to call it a "trend." The operations of the front office are a complete mystery to me, so this guy's promotion means very little. I can only hope that he is one of the guys either finding these picks or as you said, listening to the guys who are.
