Jeez that guy is such a Redskin homer. Today, Bram Weinstein said that apparently the Skins braintrust was saying to G. Williams that "we like your defense but not you." Larry said not really, just that they didn't want him as head coach and the new head coach will select the person who will coach is defense. What!

How could the promotion of Blache after the firing of Williams say anything but?

I agree....my take was exactly the same thing.
Although after countless "We fought our guts out....Team has alot heart" speeches I was kinda looking forward to a more in your face GW coaching style. Especially post game interviews would have interesting to watch lol

Larry Michaels isn't that bad, as long as your recognize that he is the slick mouthpiece of the Redskins organization. If you're expecting anything else, you'll be disappointed.

Did anyone hear the interview with Blache? Sounds like he is open to a lot of schemes and can be molded by the HC. He seems very keen on having good Cbs as well.

Vinny/Front Office = Larry/Radio. Snyder pays his people well to agree with him.

What ever happened to Larry Brown?
Found this article about him.
Still lives locally, Potomac MD, and is a commercial real estate agent.
Guess the link would have helped ;)

Blache is under contract and naming him DC may be a temporary thing to give stability. Besides wasn't his title DC anyway, tho that was meaningless with GW being the AC Defense. Nothing is lost and removing him, possibly permanently, would be the work of a moment by a new HC with different ideas. Nothing would be lost - it is a chose who you want scenario. Different on O, since Zorn is a committment. Rather think this means the new HC will be D oriented. Hope in his honeymoon period he gets some D linemen that can apply pass pressure.

Bram stole this from Akh who posted it after the Schwartz interview. Wait a second, maybe Bram is Akh.

Larry Micheal gets his paycheck from the Redskins. He's a homer for the Redskins because he likes to continue getting a paycheck. So what?
Maybe this summer we can have a tv contest to see who can suck-up more Vinny or Larry. You heard it here first at hR!
Every town has a homer for the team - some people want to hear that.

They could replace Larry Michael with a taped recording of Dan Snyder's voice and no one would know the difference.
