the vick story only has legs because what he did was illegal. PETA can protest him all they want, but unless he did something illegal inside the US borders, he ain't going anywhere. will he get booed and heckled? yes, rightfully so, but he isn't going anywhere.

that is most true...however at least the goal of human consumption is being served.

And the wife and I have been looking into switching to free range stuff, but are finding it very hard in our area to find it. there is a co-op opening down the street, and I might try it there.
