...then you hate America and freedom. There. I said it.

Now watch (http://vids.myspace.com/index.cfm?fuseaction=vids.individual&videoid=29294971).

Yes, I know these are all over the web. That only means it is greater than anything you have ever seen or done in your life.

You mean the one they've been playing for the past year? I saw the word "exclusive" and got outa there as soon as I could. Favreau's been giving myspace a whole bunch of sneak peeks.

I'm guessing shutting my eyes, covering my ears and repeating "lalalala" doesn't work against the cerebral cortex beam, but I can hope.

You just can't keep that troubled Robert Downey down!

Eh.

Here is what will happen; as it always happens with comics made into movies.

1. The pre-hype begins.
2. Threads like this pop up saying the trailer rocks.
3. Having been burned on other comic movies in the past, I'll decide to pass and watch it on DVD.
4. Critics start giving it great recommendations.
5. Opening weekend, this thread gets resurected, and everyone says its the best comic movie of all time.
6. My expectations are getting higher and higher with every post.
7. I rent (or stupidly buy) the DVD the day it comes out and watch it at home with high hopes of a phenominal movie, yet only to be let down terribly.

Eh...

If it's the one they showed during the super bowl, I already saw it. And I'd most definitely have to agree with you on the awesomeness.

I'll see it.

When it comes out on DVD.

I'm starting a petition to get Star Trek: The Next Generation folks to do another movie. Picard can take a break from those X-Men movies. Ryker could use some exercise since he's probably blown the heck up and Troi could use some recreation, if you know what I mean.

The spot they showed on the Super bowl was just a commercial, so this new trailer is 2+ minutes and has a lot of new material.

But if you want to stay fresh, then avoid it, but there is new stuff in here that keeps making the movie look cooler and cooler.

Casting Robert Downey Jr. looks like a stroke of genius right now. He turns every line into a memorable quote. Just great delivery from a great actor.

Yeah I definitely want to keep this fresh. Iron Man's been my favorite super-hero since I was a little kid (I don't know why) and I've been following this movie for the past 3 or 4 years. I'm looking forward to this more than anything else and what I've seen so far doesn't dissapoint in the least.

I totally agree... usually. Here I didn't care as much b/c IM wasn't my guy. Downey is great for Stark though. PERFECT casting!

Now if someone pulls this stunt with the new Batman trailer... There Will Be Blood. :D

Very Cool - can't wait till its on the shelves as a DVD (don't go to movies).
I wish hollywood would get back to the DC comic heros though. I'm still waiting for Sgt. Rock, a Men At War series, and Metal Men.

I really warmed up to that cast after a few years. I remember how Picard was ridiculed at first (he's bald and he's French!), but he turned out great. I'd love to see another TNG movie.

Iron Man should rock, but the movie of the summer will be the Dark Knight...period

This does look like a lot of fun. I was never a big Ironman fan, but I don't hate him either. I'm still much more interested in The Dark Knight as far as superhero movies go, but this is the kind of movie you go to the theater for.

Didn't know that the late Heath Ledger was pegged for the lead villain role. Jack Nicholson's portrayal seems pedestrian compared to this one.
