Another Proud Dad here

My daughter whom is soon to be 15 started trying out for her high schoolsoftball team. This is something she has been dreaming of since she was 7. She will have her work cut out as there are plenty of great softball players locally. Cuts start thursday after 4 days of tryouts. very tense week for her, keeping up with school and working as hard as she has, she deserves great praise. Huge week here in our house so wish us well

She was the final cut for the team, so she was pretty heartbroken but she has already started getting ready for next year. She is playing on 2 teams this year locally, one of them is actually 18 and under. She wanted to play versus the older girls so she could improve to make the team next year.

Sorry to hear that, but she sure is doing the right thing by playing up if she is that talented, she can only improve and sounds like she will hold her own ok
