1. Eli Manning, 6-4/218, Mississippi. Similar to older brother Peyton but with a little better arm and more mobility. A smart player with good intangibles. Makes good decisions. Has improved his accuracy and consistency. Is playing on a poor team and still excelling.
2. J.P. Losman, 6-2/212, Tulane. A very talented passer who lacks consistency. Has an extremely strong arm and good feet. Is athletic. Doesn't get much support from his teammates but takes hits and stands in there. A tough, resilient player.
3. Matt Schaub, 6-5/244, Virginia. A big quarterback who can make all the throws. Has arm strength and accuracy and is efficient in the short passing game. Throws with a nice touch. Plays with intelligence. Is limited athletically.
4. Cody Pickett, 6-4/220, Washington. A prototypical passer from a physical standpoint. Has decent movement skills and a decent arm. Needs to improve his decision-making and down-to-down consistency. Can be streaky.
5. Craig Krenzel, 6-4/227, Ohio State. A big, tough, athletic quarterback who rarely makes dumb throws. Moves around well. Has a nice arm. Is the type of player coaches love to have. Is inconsistent with accuracy. Has upside.
6. John Navarre, 6-6/235, Michigan. A big dropback quarterback with a good arm. Accuracy runs hot and cold. Doesn't have great movement. Needs to improve at reading defenses.
7. Philip Rivers, 6-5/225, N.C. State. Has good size, athleticism and all the intangibles. Knows how to win. Is a student of the game. Arm strength is average, and has a funky sidearm release. 8. Jared Lorenzen, 6-3/275, Kentucky. Known as "The Hefty Lefty," Lorenzen is a physical freak because of his size and strength. Has a cannon of an arm. Plays with moxie, improvises and makes plays. Lacks discipline on and off the field. Instincts are questionable.
9. Luke McCown, 6-4/202, Louisiana Tech. Very similar prospect to older brother Josh of the Cardinals. His best traits are competitiveness and toughness. Has a decent arm. Will throw some balls up for grabs.
10. Rod Rutherford, 6-2/215, Pittsburgh. Athletic and strong with a gun for an arm. Can make all the throws. Accuracy, instincts and feel for the game are questionable. Could improve with experience.
