im back!

i had alot of fun in ATL. the people were cool, the weather was great, the hotel was nice and the redskins won! what more can i ask for! what a game to go to. there were some many skins fans there, definitely more than i expected. we (me and my brothers) sat in section 323 which is up high, but we could everything. believe or not, we didnt even bring a camera!:doh: there were skins fans in front of us and behind us and we were definintely the ring leaders. screamin and yellin got the others going and before you knew, the skins were taking over! it was funny because i brought my foam finger and every time we made a good play, i would wave the finger. soon enough, the rest of the fans got into and every time we made a good play a guy behind me was like, "give em" the finger! lol.... even though the skins were down 17-0 early, we werent sweatin' it. a few falcons fans started ribbing us and next thing you know, we score a TD. they were quite from then on. btw, you all can thank me for the safety armstead got because i called it! i was like, "right now would be the perfect time for a safety, just watch." wouldda know.... when we went up 33-24, i had already lost my voice. mid way thru the 4th qtr, falcons fans were leaving! i couldnt believe it. i was saying, hey dont leave, where ya going?! then i yelled really loudly, where is mike vick when you need him? oh wait, i almost forgot to tell you all that we met barry sanders at the detroit airport! we walked past him and my brother said hey, theres barry sanders! we got a pen and we got him to sign my brothers bodybuilding magazine. we shook his hand and walked away. i am such a huge fan of barry sanders and that just made my weekend before it even started! he was a really quite guy, just like he is on the field. thats about it from here...i will definitely be doing that again soon. maybe the buffalo game.....

Your making me get excited. I have tickets to the Miami game on a Sunday night in Joe Roby. (In the COCA-COLA suite/box - Never done that before). Never been to Joe Roby either. I was worried about how many Miami fans vs Skins fans there would be and my boss (Dolphin fan who got me the Tix) said there will be a lot of skins fans there.

I can't wait!!!

WHAT TOOK YOU SO LONG? I was waiting for your game report. Don't make us wait the next time.:) :) Just joking. Anyway, I knew I wasn't going crazy when I saw all of those REDSKINS fans on my television. I kept saying to myself......"we are representin' D.C./Maryland/Virginia and the rest of REDSKINS COUNTRY very well in the ATL." I love to go to games and hear fans talk smak. When I went to the Thursday night opener against the JETS, they TALKED A WHOLE GANG OF SMAK. At the end, we had the last laugh. If we beat the Giants on Sunday........you will not be able to shut me up.

PS. Am I the only one who is TIRED of the white on white uniforms???? OK, were 2-0 in them, so I can't complain too much. I'm not superstitious, but nevertheless, if they keep winning, they could wear whatever they want (except pink:D ).

lol luvskins...i didnt even notice that. i corrected it though.

skinsfan1906...yeah, there were plenty of skins fans representing. we talked to few. alot of them migrated from home. some were from the area and lived in atlanta. it was so funny to here the loud boos whenever they showed spurrier's face on the screens! i guess those bulldog fans just cant forgive spurrier....i kinda like the white on white now. it makes them love faster....i wonder how the burgandy on burgamdy would look....?

Lady - How did the fans react to Champ?

The Atlanta paper had a poll on their site that asked if the Falcon fans would welcome Champ to the dome (b/c of his roots at UGA) or not welcome CHamp to the dome (b/c he is with 'evil' spurrier).

It seemed as if 65% said they would NOT welcome Champ back to the Dome.

ya know dj, i dont even know. i didnt hear all of the introductions. the sound system is pretty bad too. i dont know if thats because of the dome or what but the volume was pretty low, especially when they introduced the redskins. i do know that the falcons fans LOVE alge crumpler. he received the loudest applause. ashanti performed at halftime and her performance was terrible. you could barely hear her singing. she sounded much better once i covered my ears!

AHHH! I almost missed this thread because I was too busy to log on yesterday (You guys post ALOT of new threads in a day)

Anyway, I'm soo glad you had a good time with your bros at the game. Thanks for the safety call! I thought there were a lot of Skins fans there, enough so that at one point when the fans were yelling, "SMOOOOOOOT" the TV announcers thought they were booing a bad call. ~grin~
