I was trying to post in a Champ thread and got some kind of error message and now i can't find it?? It was a long 3 page thread. am I going nuts?

Oh, OK, well for what it's worth, my 2 cents on the last post about QBs not being that important and the examples given where Theisman, Williams and Rypien (not being world beater yet won SBs) is:

I think the credit for those SBs goes to Gibbs -- He was a master at ajusting to the talent of his players. Not many coaches if any could have won SB with 3 diff above avg QBs.......and really, 3 diff teams.

No, you make yourself look dumb with lame ass responses like that. You make yourself look dumb by making a comment about Ramsey being the best when no one said he was. If you are so confident that my argument is dumb, show me where. You have still yet to address my question to you about shoring up the d-line, which you said sucked. And say what you will about those QBs, but they weren't pushovers either. And you also help to prove MY POINT. Those wins were accomplished because we had great athletes at all of the critical positions, not just one.

QB is so important? Naw, it isn't. I'm sure Wuerffel could have lit the Falcons up the same way Ramsey did.:rolleyes:

I was making a post as well and got the same message. We believe that we had a database problem and we are trying to see if we can locate it through our backup.

THANKS, glad I'm not going nuts. To your point about the QBs that Gibbs won SBs with......you make great points about the cap problem. It's a huge difference in todays NFL then when Gibbs was coachings. TEAMS stayed together for a decade, now if you can keep a solid nuceus for 3-4 years your lucky. It's so diff now.

I tried JDS, but when someone tells you that your thoughts are dumb and don't offer any logic themselves it becomes tough to just be happy.

I do like making love though. It definitely beats war hands down.:D

I searched the database for the thread and it has been erased because of a problem we experienced with some database corruption. We apologize for this.

Damn - things must have really heated up with that thread after I left yesterday - sorry to have missed it BUT Kenny IT'S Wednesday my friend. Thing are all downhill from here and there is only one thing standing in our way between now and Sunday - a little tiny hurricane - AND that too will pass.

I never understand why people have to resort to "personal" shots at each other just because they don't share the same opinions. I think its fun the debate opinions, but something gets lost when personal attacks start flying.

I have never been to war but I am kinda fond of the other option also :D :D
