we might be a hot ticket for primetime games considering last years late season success under the lights, then again maybe not because we arent considered elite either

To be honest, I'd rather have all (3) NFCE home games at the end of the season. Our Skins play tough ball at home, and you have to hope they will be fairly fine tuned by the time the bye is over. The goal is to steal one or two NFCE away games and then play them hard at home to tilt the balance. At first glance, I'm pretty happy with the schedule.

if that posted one is true, i can live with it..

catching new orleans early is risky but cleveland in dead of winter would be bad, so that is better

seattle tends to have mid season irregularities or slumps. a good time to catch them

san fran should be coached by an interim by then...

schedule looks tough to me. 3 of the 1st 5 are roadies in the division wow.

NO and Ari are not cakewalks.

can we win 3 of 5 too start the season. I'm thinking the transition offensively could take time and a bad start could cripple us.

If the Skins are smart, they'll make the Saints wear the black jerseys on 9/14, which will probably be an 80 degree day in DC (if last year is any indication).

But like any schedule in the league now tough to know who's gonna be good and who might flop and fall back. I think Ciny and the Ravens are headed for trouble, as is Stl, Det, Arizona and SF if they still think Alex Smith can play instead of Shaun Hill.

So in my mind those are the 6 should or could wins for sure.

I think it's pretty nice. We have the mini bye after week 1. We have a late bye which should help when we're nicked up late in the season. The ease of the late schedule should give us a chance for a thrilling playoff run.

As for the home games, we have one 4:15, one Sunday night and a Monday night. I'd take another 4:15 or two instead of the night games. I don't like being cold and the traffic for the Monday night game is always a PITA. What would normally be a 45 minute commute is going to take at least twice that. Having to get off work and drive down immediately makes getting the house tough. I'll probably have to eat at the stadium. Then of course getting up the next day is rough...

The trips to the west are tough. But all things considered, I don't think Zorn could have asked for a better schedule.

Things that IN GENERAL I look for in the schedule:

1) mid to late bye week - CHECK
2) how many teams do we play coming off their bye? - UNKNOWN
3) is the travel fair - CHECK
4) are the last 5-6 games skewed to being home (playoffs are made in december) - PUSH -- We play mostly on the road, but will SF, B-more, and Cincy be good teams? Methinks, no.

-yeah getting a buy on the final buy week of the season is awsome.
-playing a thurs night game is tough any week but week 1:)
-3 divisional home games early will be tough but having 3 tough Ws behind us will be awsome
-playing the Giants Nov 30 made my schedule as I can only get down to 1 game a year and only from Mid Nov. on, so it will still be fair weather and I dearly want to see us demolish the over rated SB champs
- playing the Cowboys at home after a buy is good even if its their buy too
- niners week 17 is nice as is the Eagles @ home week 16...both very winnable games, Bengles in Cincy week 15 could be scary but Ravens in Bal. week 14 should not be so bad, especially since our stud 1st round DE and
2nd round DT pass rushers will be seasoned by then:)
