ok i praised vinny for the great trade and when we go thomas after trading done but then to take thomas 1 pick after campbell and then kelly 1 pick after laws. were we targeting them and then got confused i think so why do we need another tight end we need a dlinemen,a guard, and a cb and 2 pick to get those unless we find a sleeper late. we cant ignore the lines please vinny draft us 1 linemen on each side of the ball atleast

They are going to tell us value. I mean as far as the Fred Davis pick- it's not like he's a nobody- he did win the Mackey award but with Cooley on the roster I would have selected Calais Campbell. The selection of Kelly is perplexing but once again with the size and college production they view him as good value- I just wonder if we will try to trade Santana or Randel El at this point.

I think the Redskins just stuck tot heir board and took the BPA. They clearly did not like Campbell.
I think Davis will be the best player out of the 3 and gives us a nice red zone weapon, which we need.

The fact that our Dline coach, Campbell's old dline coach, didn't think enough of him to make a stand for him says a lot.
And with the red zone: imagine what the red zone package will look like with Kelly, Thomas, Davis and Cooley.
As long as we address the lines with 3 of the remaining picks, its been a good draft.

AKH has gone over to the dark side, LOL.
I gotta admit I was very perplexed by Davis & Kelly but if the Skins grab Oline & Dline with #96 and #103 I will be pleased.

Devin thomas, good pick.
Fred Davis, i definitely would not have picked him, but i am not going crazy over it either, i jus wouldn't have done it.
THe kelly pick is what upset me. I know we really like him and his production but we have acknowledged he has some knee problems, and we already took Devin Thomas, and we have alot of holes to fill. I simply don't understand this pick. They didn't have to take campbell if they didn't like him, they had Justin King there and other Corners, Dre Moore is still there, and other players we could have used. I know the 2 i mentioned are still available but we only have onoe pick in round 3, and it late, so you could have taken another position here and got a good player.
My thinking is they are saying it will take a few years for these WR to develop and can contribute only a small amount right now. That way EL is up in age as well as moss, and maybe one of them has to move on because of salary and stuff. I don't know, not a draft i am proud of, but Dan/vinny always wanted a strong offense and dominate offense, maybe they are trying to get that???

If we can get John Greco, a De with some pass rush ability and a 3 gap DT, we've had a good draft.

I'm really glad we didn't draft Campbell. He just sounds too much like the nfl-version of Kwame Brown. No thanks, I'm glad we didn't take him.

Wrong. He asked for and got Matt Millen's brain.

Today's moves were highly criticized on JLC's blog's comments site. But I agree with what the Skins did today. Zorn, in his film reviewing, must've seen a stunning lack of talent or motivation in the area of catching the ball to make such selections (and make no mistake, I think this is all Zorn).

Marcus Harrison is still there. I'm hoping for him, I don't care if we have to trade up...

I'd take Matt Millen over Vinnie C ANY day and twice on draft day.
