I was hoping it was going to be this Giants game which coincides with our tailgate. Haven't heard anything. Has anyone else heard utterances about Darrell Green being in the house on Sunday? Could it be a surprise type thing? That would be so great to see. Only has happened one other time in Skins history: Slingin' Sammy's #33.

No, they didn't retire his number to my knowledge that last game.

That will happen when good P.R. will be needed by the Team or management.

I don't think the front office wanted to retire #28 yet, just in case he wants to come back in 2004.

I heard rumors at the end of last season that they were going to do something early this year ... of course, haven't heard anything recently.

they've only officially retired #33, Sammy Baugh. they've unofficially retired 7, 9, and i think 3(i hate you jeff george) and 81

Yeah but, if you are gonna retire number 28, then lets show respect and get some of these other numbers retired as well.

We should start a drive to retire #28
Bombard the Redskins with E-mails
Write letters to the media
Call the Funky 4's friend Jim Vance
etc...

Unlike some others, #28 should be officially retired and hanging in the stadium!
