Courtesy of the Sporting News, so take it for what it's worth. I'm not sure how to interpret it, but he says Ramsey is in good hands due to our two bookend tackles. Guess he hasn't really seen the footage or stats from the first 2 games that includes 10 sacks and 1 sprained non-throwing shoulder.
New York Giants at Washington.
So much for the concerns about if Ball Coach can coach in the NFL. So much for concerns that he will be too enamored with airing it out -- he is smart enough to know an effective running game makes his passing game all the more explosive.
Trung Canidate and Ladell Betts are by no means thrilling options, but they have opened up the field for Patrick Ramsey to get the ball to Laveranues Coles and Rod Gardner. It also helps that Ramsey has Chris Samuels and Jon Jansen as the bookends protecting him. That tackle duo will help keep the Giants' pass rush at bay, allowing Ramsey to make the key big plays that will push the Redskins to a surprising but well-deserved 3-0. Redskins 27, Giants 23.
At least he picked the right team, eh?
