Does anyone have reviews on the Mazda5

My family is going to be growing from 4 to 5 in mid Janaury. I am going to need to replace a Chevy Aveo. I am looking for something that seat 6 or 7 and something that still does okay on mpg's - and price is a concern too.

My research tells me the Mazda5 fits the bill. Does anyone know any reports on this car ... or is there something even better available?

Any help would be appreciated.

A guy I work with bought one. He likes it okay, but he had some problems with the wheels and had to bug the dealer to replace them. He also said the resale value is pretty bad if you were ever looking to do that. He drives a good way to work, so I assume the mileage is fine. If you have any other questions, I can pass them on to him if you want.

Could you ask him about the 3rd row seating. Is there room for a 4th grader to sit comfortably?

I have also found that the Mazda5 was rated a Consumer Reports Best Buy.
