The Post is reporting that Smoot is back to his old self. He was the loudest person in the locker room today. Pending doctor's approval, he may play.

Wilbert Brown was waved again this week and TE Kevin Ware was signed up from the practice squad.

Bruce Smith had a day off along with Fiore.

Ramsey is looking good and throwing the ball beautifully according to Spurrier

Spurrier rarely gives his QBs much credit during practices. Usually you hear him say stuff like "Young Patrick made a few good throws and a few not-so-good-throws. We will do our best to coach him up for the game." For Spurrier to give nothing but gracious praise to his QB's performances in camp is a true compliment to Ramsey.

By the way...did you guys catch this?

"Spurrier said there's a "good chance" the Redskins will wear white-on-white uniforms for the third straight game. There is no record of the team wearing white-on-white in franchise history before this season, but the attire is now 2-0. "

Spurrier KNOWS that Ramsey is KEY to this Offense-and I have no doubt that he (Spurrier) does not want to apply any EXTRA pressure on Ramsey-Nor does he (Spurrier) want to over-inflate Ramsey's Ego........Yet at the same time he (Spurrier) wants to instill a good deal of confidence in his QB........

Lets give Spurrier some kudos for playing the mental side of the game.........
