Today's Washington Post article by Demasio says that Darrell was, "displaced" by Bauman. In fact, Darrell took this young man under his wing and mentored him, trying, in his final year, to encourage a potential replacement. To suggest that this was anything less, is irresponsible on the part of the reporter.

No I don't think so at all. If u look back at the season Darrell was put at 4th on the depth chart BEHIND Bauman hence he was displaced as the nickel corner. Darrell accepted the role graciously and still split time with Bauman but was behind him on the depth chart the entire season.
