Well, he won't be a free agent after this year, and it appears the cards have the upper hand in negotiations (or lack of) and any negotiations with other teams for compensation.
Would absolutely love to have this guy but i fear the price would be far to high in terms of compensation for the cards.

Philly maybe, but Dallas? Can't see it with the money they shelled out for TO and Crayton.

god i hope not in dallas. as if they weren't already loaded.
Philly, thats still dangerous. McNabb, when healthy can get that team to the playoffs with westbrook. With a real receiver that team is a serious contender for the nfc championship.

Id gladly send them Moss and a first as long as we got him locked up long term.

I don't know for 100% certain, but I think that this is probably going to be McNugget's final year in Philly due to Kolb, his age and his contract.

Boldin is one of my absolute favorite players not on the Redskins. I was very much for giving whatever it takes to get him on the team prior to the draft. Better than Chad Johnson or Roy Williams as far as I'm concerned. Awesome hands and tougher to bring down than TO. Amazing talent.
I don't see him coming here anytime soon now and that's a damn shame.

I just don't get why everyone thinks the cowboys are "loaded" with talent. When I look at our team I see just as much talent, especially on the offensive side of the ball. Like most teams, they will only go as far as Romo will take them.

Your kidding yourself then. Their QB is more established and more polished. They have a good core of WR including a future hall of famer (ours is unproven). Our TE's and RB's are probably about dead even with them. i may give Portis a slight edge over Barber. Their O-line last year was darn good. Ours is always hurt. Their defense is also a bit better than ours as well.

Slightly disagree, the Boys have a better passing game than we do. I'll take portis any day over Barber(who hasn't shown he has the stamina to start) and I'll take our Line(when healthy) over theirs. The defenses are about even. Their Dline and Dbs are pretty meh.

We used two high-round picks on receivers and our WR corp is chock full of talent right now. This is bad timing for us! That being said, I agree with Csquared that trading Moss to them would be amazing, although I doubt they would bite on it.
Could you imagine Boldin, ARE, Kelly, Thomas and Thrash/Mix? Damn...

At this point I think Portis has a huge edge over Barber, who is an unproven featured back. We can discuss this after Barber has a 1500 yard season, let alone three.
As for Boldin, he is one of my favorites. He played at FSU when I was there. I was screaming at the TV when we took Taylor Jacobs over him. His only downfall is injury concerns. I think he missed a year at FSU before I was there and he's missed time in Arizona. DBs had an extremely hard time bringing him down bringing him down in college, I wasn't sure if that would translate to the NFL, but it looks like it has. I would hate to see him go to the Eagles.

My point is that the media acts like the Cowboys are the most talented team ever on paper and I just don't see it. I don't think their talent level is leaps and bounds above ours and the media is hardly considering us a playoff team.

Thats because they are the self named "Americas team." and we are the dreaded team who tries buy everything. Or so they try to portray us. I agree the media OVER emphasis's the cowboy talent and UNDER emphasis us, but objectively they have a more talented team then us if not to the degree that the media portrays it

With our current WR Corps playing this year and they don't perform Boldin would be a huge temptation that even Synder could not bear to ignore.

Boldin's "threat" sounds a lot like CJ's "I won't report to camp". Boldin is going nowhere for the foreseeable future, but the press loves this bdcause it gives them a speculation that fills space without ever being close to a potential reality.
