He is getting killed by Shockey. The last play found him being dragged for 3 or 4 yards by Shock.

I hope Smoot is ok. But Shock does out weigh Smoot by quite a bit.

I still can't get over 17 penalties in one game.

We had a couple of unsportsmanlike conduct penalties that were huge. We have got to play with more control and with much more discipline. This is unheard of. Norv's teams were not this bad and he had some very undisciplined teams.

Coach said he don't have the answers for the penalties and undisciplinenessof the team. What the hell is he talking about. You start makeing players ride the pine for a few games and they will stop this crap. There is no excuse for this.
This goes back to the coaching. They don't make the mistakes but dog gonnit they are responsible for getting it stopped one way or the other.

Thatz an understatement.

Overall the game...well it's hard to say because of all the other stuff that went on. We ran the ball really well and Patrick had another stellar game as did Coles.

Our defense did well in spurts but when they were bad, they were really bad. A couple of times we let the Giants just drive right down the field on us.

The offense line seemed to block a little bit better as Pat was not hit as much as last week but we still need improvement there as well.

The Trotter play killed us. No other way to put it. He should be fined for that.

32 penalties called on both teams.

Hall missed 2 FG's which was huge but one was a 50 something yarder that hit the pole.

You guys played a heck of a game. As I suspected, McCants stepped up and hurt our nickle coverage, especially on that TD.
Ramsey played very well - great pocket awareness.<P>

You're right - Skins do need an upgrade on the DL. Collins had alot of time, and if Fassel had kept airing it out and didnt stupidly start playing conservative late in the game, it would not have been close.<p>

Again, very impressed with Ramsey, McCants and Betts - all were solid.

I still say that the things that are keeping us from being a playoff caliber team are correctable.We can cut out the stupid penalties but this game has to be a season changer in that respect!
