I am not one of the lucky ones who live in the DC area any more. So getting to see games is a bit more challenging for me. Most of the opportunities I get to go see games are in enemy territory.

My cousin works for one of the sponsor at the Medowlands, so I will be going up for the season opener Sept. 4th and watching for the luxury suite on the 50! Although it is a great opportunity there is going to be an aweful lot of Blue in the stands.

Then my other buddy has season Eagles tickets right on in the first row where the visiting team runs out. They are right on the corner of the endzone and you are so close you can almost touch the players. I will be going up for the Oct. 5th game and again these would be great seats if there weren't so many eagles fans around.

Last year I wore my jersey to both games and caused a bit of a rucous at the "stink". They called my buddy and threatened to take his Season tickets away because there was almost a riot, when they sole my jersey. I am debating whether to go full garb or not this year for his sake.

So let's see what hostile enviroments you will be visiting and how you will be supporting.

If i have the time off I will be going to the Eagles-redskins day with my daughter at the Lincoln Center. my brother-in-law is generously providing the tickets.

Yes, i will be at the tailgate and yes we'll be wearing our Redskins jerseys. Yes, i do have life insurance.

Only chance for me will be preseason. Redskins are in Charlotte on the 23rd of Aug. I believe. I may be able to land a ticket for that one. I'm planning on coming up for the hR tailgate for the Browns game.

Last year I organized a big bus trip to Green Bay for that game. This season the club wanted me to do another one cause last years was so successful so I am organizing a trip to Detroit.

Should be a lot of fun.

We're getting a 55 person motorcoach and heading up there on 4am on Sunday arriving around 10am in detroit (coming from Chicago). That should give us plenty of time to tailgate. Then we will be rolling back to Chi after the game.

Detroit has been really accomodating on tickets. We are going to get group tickets, so expect to see roughly 30-40 redskins fans all in the same section! Should be awesome!

If anyone is in the Chicago area, and doesn't know about the club, please check us out:

We get together every weekend for the games and it's a lot of fun. If you are interested in coming on the trip (it's very affordable), let me know and I will add you to the list. The more the merrier. Just shoot me a PM.

I will be heading mask first into a sea of mullets and Zubazz pants. Kudos to the first person that can guess what away game I am referring to.

LOL
