A league source tells PFT that the Steelers will add not one but two veteran backup quarterbacks.
Per the source, after Charlie Batch suffered a broken collarbone in the preseason opener, the Steelers are bringing on both Byron Leftwich and Daunte Culpepper.

Wow. They may have the biggest set of QBs in history.

I dunno. I think they might bring both in, and sign one to be their backup. Big Ben being number one, and Dennis Dixon being their #3. Dixon intrigues me, because I think he was possibly a 1st rounder, or 2nd rounder if he didn't get injured.

You have to think Leftwich can still be a half-decent starter in this league; so he would be a great backup, IMO.

Both under the 80 man limit? Highly unlikely (see "shut up" thread).

They already signed Leftwich.
