Who will be the biggest name player the redskins will cut this season. Last year they let Renaldo Wynn go and some other bubble players go. So what is your prediction??

I don't really see any I know Douthy should be cut but he won't apparently. But I don't see where a young player has clearly pushed into a vets role.
I'm betting Frost is a goner, possibly Todd Wade.

The following could be gone:
Fox (in favor Moore, Horton, and #46 at LB for Spec. Teams)
Evans or Wilson (I think that Jackson stays)
Mix (Thrash stays, and if McMillian can keep going)
Wade (too much young talent to not keep over his age) If Heyer doesn't heal Wade may stay
Frost (No brainer)

i agree with most of what you said.
Fox is probably gone, wade may go depending on reinharts performance in the Panther game, and Frost is a dead man walking.
If the offense decides to carry 6 wide i think it goes moss, el, thrash, thomas, kelly and McMullen (due to his experience in the WCO and his play so far). so mix is gone either way.
Wilson or jackson is gone, and i think jackson has more upside then wilson, and if he doesn't reach that potential, at worst he is what he is right now and that is essentially a situational speed rusher which is the best wilson can be and is now.
From all reports out of training camp, Evans will actually play in the nickle situations, supplanting Monty and Golston in those packages, so he has really been nice. Again off of what i have read through the REdskins INsider, and what has been said other places.

i can see all of those being cut except for evans. no way evans gets cut, especially with his versatility to slide inside to tackle on passing downs. i think jackson makes it and wilson is gone as well as boschetti.

Evans is a lock and I've heard people expect as a 3rd down inside rusher to have a big year.

evans had a bat down.. this off season he worked with daniels power lifting. that should help him inside, plus he always seemed to fatigue as the game wore on..
maybe this will help him ?
one way or the other i think evans is in the top 6 or 7 D linemen. that should make him close to a lock

As far as Evans is concerned, I know that his ability to move inside is a huge plus, but I have not seen him get to the QB except on missed assignments or blown plays.
Jackson, I think is a lock for a couple of reasons. 1. he is a draft pick. 2. He looks bigger than Wilson thus I think will be a more complete DE. 3. I think he will be picked up by somebody else if cut or PS. I could even see him bulking up to be like Evans (287 vs 269)
Wilson may be dead with the acquistion of Taylor. We don't really need a situational pass rusher right now.

Wade, Frosty, Fox and (possibly) Wilson

I don't necessarily believe these, but I'm going to be bold:
1. Yoder. . .if Goode lights it up, but probably not even then.
2. The Rock. . .if Mason continues strong, KR option surfaces, depth at DE, OL, CB determined to be important.
3. Jansen. . .never happen, but this is about the biggest name player grossly underperforming. . .if Heyer suddenly morphs into Ogden & salary cap space suddenly appears.
4. Fabini. . .if Rinehart looks really solid, a backup C is kept who is also serviceable G.
5. Wade. . .if Jansen starts looking like the old Jansen & Heyer handles edge rush better. . . or if Wade's durability becomes issue.
6. Fox. . .if two R safeties continue to impress, and we decide to go with 4 safeties due to wealth at other positions that must keep and Springs S ability in pinch.
Ideal situation: all of the above except Jansen, and keep 5 DEs.

My list of "Won't Be Surprise" if they are released:
Cartwright / Broughton
Wade / Fabin
Ecker / Yoder
Thrash
FROST
Boschetti
Fox
Frost has the inside track to all of them IMO.
BUT ......... there's still 2 preseason games to go and as always - INJURIES will probably be a factor

My "wouldnt be surprised at all" list:
Wade
Fabini
Cartwright (if Devin Tomas can return kicks)
Mix (I think we go with 5 WRs)
Yoder (Replaced by Goode)
Fox
Frost
My would be "a little" surprised list:
Evans - The guy is still on the right side of 30 and can play end or tackle.
Alexander - He hasn't done anything yet and his versatility will only go so far.

I would be surprised if Goode can supplant Yoder. I think Goode is a candidate for PS though.

The biggest names we will see I think are:
Fox
Frost
Wilson
I know Westbrook isn't a name who contributed during the regular season but folks around here like him. I suspect he will be cut as well.

I think we liked Westbrook last year because of who his brother is... This year, the novelty has worn off and i'm pretty sure nearly everyone realizes that he's a turd. Even Tryon looks better than him, and thats not much of a compliment. To be honest, I don't even know if Westbrook will make our practice squad.
I think you are right about Wilson though. The acquisitions of Taylor, James, and Jackson make him entirely expendable.

No Surpises:
Fox
Frost
Wade
Westbrook (PS)
Wilson
