We are never gonna make the playoffs with this D-line... We have the worst D-line in the NFL. I have no idea what to do for this season but maybe we could draft a D-lineman next year....

I agree RB we need some D line help. a consistent pass rush would be nice

Dude, what have I been saying for months? I told everyone our D-line would hurt us against good quarterbacks. We've got Tom Brady, Brad Johnson, Aaron Brooks, Donovan McNabb coming up.

Part of the problem is that the Skins get so few turnovers. Teams that don't rush the passer don't get turnovers. It really sets us in a hole in almost every game.

Wow, ask Mike how many times I said that tonight....

The D-line is ridiculously weak. I'd really like to see LaDairus Jackson go in there on passing downs. What could it hurt?

Hopefully McNabb will win the game for us when we play the Iggles.

We don't have the cash for a free agency splash again (Sapp, Kearse and John Abraham may turn out to be there) so this will have to come through the draft. Draft em' early and draft em' often cause a good D-line is what this team needs to be a top contender. If we can do that, next year will be our year.

D-line DIDN'T cause us to lose this game. Sure, it could be better BUT there are sooooo many other things that could have been better yesterday. LBs & DB made more than their share of mistakes. O-line, well I won't even go there BUT my first pick in the draft goes for a Tackle who can doinate (bye Samuels). WRs , I lost count of the drop passes. QB off target several throws. Kicker - need I say more.
All in all, everyone can share alittle blame for this one. BUT not to worry (yet) WE WILL GET BETTER.

HOW ABOUT 17 FREAKIN' PENALTIES!!!!! THATS WHAT HURT US THE MOST. THE GIANTS DIDN'T REALLY BEAT US......AS MUCH AS WE BEAT OURSELVES.

Well, with the amount of time we gave Collins yesterday, he was bound to find someone open. He probably turned that internal clock off after awhile since he realized he was going to have all day to throw balls.

The d line gets zero push up fron against the pass. Collins had time all day. On the run they have a permanent gaping hole on the left side where Bruce Smith lines up. The right side does do well against the run but the giants barely ran that side.

I fell sorry for Bruce. They just double team him, and the rest of the line doesn't do crap. If we could get some rush out of the rest of the line, it would open Bruce up for some sacks. They need to do nothing but work on pass rush in practice. They have been doing decent with the run.

It's a combo, but we coudl have beaten the Ginats without pressure and with barber gaining 100 yards if we had 6 penalties instead of 17. Sloppy play causes losses.

Something resembling a pass rush would help this team greatly. We have four DB's back there that are ballhawks. If we could get some pressure we could really force a lot of turnovers.

I'm with the idea of throwing L.Jackson out there. He can't be any more ineffective as some of these other guys. Lavar gets a ton of pressure, but it sucks having to blitz him to get any pressure.

Don't be too sure of that....Snyder finds ways to make guys fit under the salary cap. I think he might go after Sapp or someone else this offseason.

Sapp will probably want to play offense as well. That dance he did yesterday was hilarious.

Collins had way to much time to pass. of course the penalties killed us. NY had just as many, but ours were crushing!

The game ended (4rth quarter anyways) the same way it started - 1&10 @ 20 ending with a penalty & a FG. You can't fall behind 16+ points & win with field goals in the last minutes every week. Don't blame the defense, blame the offense - they committed most of the penalties as well (10).
